It’s that time of year! Friends are coming in from all around the country to visit family and to play some chill out, no radar, generic start.
This evening I’m planning on having some friends over from out of town for a LAN, and as far as I can see it’s not like it use to be. Are there any resources on how to set this up and make it go smoothly? I haven’t had much luck with just Google searches.

You can set it up on lan, but you also need to have a connection to xbox live for it to work. I believe once the machines are on the same network and can see each other, when you go into custom games it will switch over to lan. Do a search on this forum, because I know someone else had this same issue.
Yeah, I’ve got all that. But I think it also has problems with adding guest and you need separate live accounts for things to run smoothly.
