Halo - Just Another Runescape

For all of you that don’t know, Runescape used to be the world’s largest F2p MMORPG back in early 2000’s. Runescape is a game that you can never truely leave from, you take long breaks but eventually finding yourself coming back to the game. Runescape took it’s turn when they removed the Wilderness - the essential part of the plaver vs player community. After that Jagex (Company that owns Runescape) would not listen to its player base and toot its own horn. They thought they knew what was best for their game and now Runescape is in ruins still trying to stay afloat after Jagex finally listened to them.

Anyways, time for my main point. 343 Industries believe know what they are doing. They didn’t want to bother with split-screen, no social playlists (finally listened to community), no sense of achievement, no real progression (a flawed boring tier system), and started adding new gimmicks. All I see nowadays are these butt-hurt fanboys that believe change is absolutely necessary. No, we don’t need pretty lights and crazy moves to keep your ADHD in check. Halo is dropping, and has been. While everyone believes Reach was the golden age, it was quite frankly what lead Halo to its downfall. While Halo might not be dead, it’s nothing but a microtransaction fest, doesn’t promote running alone (Team of 4 vs all randoms) (Free-for-all kappa), and honestly it gets boring pretty quick.

Give us a ranking system, yes deranking was an issue but hell 1-50 was worth striving for. Don’t let a team of 4 queue with a bunch of people running alone. Give maps that give map control a meaning. Give us classic playlists for the love of God. And most importantly, stop trying to be something your not, Just be Halo -Yoink!-. We don’t want another Runescape, a great game that died to arrogance of its owners.

Crud… A halo mmo might be the way to go.

Halo is just fine thanks for asking

Halo is doing just fine? ^ Explain. Kappa

I think every Spartan Ability is a great edition except Sprint. Sprint is the main complaint, right? Isn’t that the reason why all of the Halo veterans are disappointed with Halo 5? Sprint is eventually unless anyway, it’s just an illusion. Having a sprint mechanic in a game forces you to adjust the map size for it. But bigger maps that are adjusted to sprint don’t change anything in the end, it just gives you another speed. Hopefully you can understand what I’m trying to say, if not I’m saying sprint is useless. Hopefully 343 listens to the community and implements needed changes or Halo will be another Runescape.

This would be my perfect Halo, even an alternative type of Halo like the game Warframe would be excellent imo, I would love to explore planets and research and build weapons, armour and allies in the Halo universe, a friend mentioned a Halo RPG as his perfect Halo, he said he would like a Halo done like Mass Effect, there’s so many different ways Halo games could go.

Sprint is almost as bad as Cod running around with a knife trying to kill you lol

Everyone I know agrees that Runescape 2 was better and that the new Runescape sucks in comparison.

Sounds like you’re the one who’s butt hurt.

this. and at-least 343 wont be -Yoinks!- and delete your character and all progress just because you take a break form the game. -Yoink- runescape. i loved that game found a better game came back 7 years later to runescape just to find out they deleted my character and all his progress because i was inactive. and runescape 3 is trash i heard they brought back old school so i went there to a free server. and it tells me i need the monthly Subscription to play on a FREE server. so ya Runescape can go ahead and Die with every other Subscription MMO. those games are cancers to gaming.

cringes at the unnecessary insults. You’d be taken more seriously if you didn’t even mention them… Anyways, you can’t compare the two companies cuz different game genres require different managements. Yes they both try to use their own way to setup the game, I’ll give you that however 343 was trained and worked with bungie during reach before they got full control of halo. I’ve never played rune scape so I know nothing of their current developers but my point still stands, different game genres require different management as some genres put more focus in certain features/mechanics where as another does something different. You see what I mean? Might need to elaborate more idk, just say so If need be.
