The REAL reason Halo 2 and 3 were popular was because the gameplay was new and fresh for consoles. Now anyone who says that today would be lying they need to change it up. I think we can expect another Halo 2 in the future but not in terms of it just copying Halo 2 but by improving and adding onto Halo 4 for the better.

How about when you playing baseball and you had the best average on the team? I guess all these types of tings are pointless to you. Maybe just some of them are? Well that’s usually how it goes. Just because you are bad at the game doesn’t mean others that strive to improve their game do not care about seeing a rating implying how skillful they are. Have you ever asked “what’s the point of playing a video game?”. What is the point really? Usually the point is to ackomplish something…such as beating a campaign. You can make fun all you want but the reality is that people want a rating to reflect how skillful they are…and they want to be able and see other peoples ratings as well. It makes the game more fun and something to aim for. Those numbers do have value as they give you braggin rights against all the terrible players such as yourself that might talk a bunch of smack…that’s just one example. Being the best at something does have value so you can stop with that complete stupidity. There are more than one example as to why ratings for games make them more fun. Some people are more competitive and like…get this…competition. Maybe next time you go bowling you can just not keep score because you just like throwing a ball at pins. As for the rest of us with some competitivness in our blood, we like to see how good we are and how bad you are.

> First off your talking to someone who is a high ranking competitive player in Counter Strike Team Fortress 2 DoW Elite mod Dota 2 and Halo so I you shut the hell up you -Yoink!- Secondly Counter Strike Team Fortress 2 and Elite Mod all taught me the most competitive gameplay is the forum of a tournament. Match made games are completely noncompetitive due to the lack of fixed teams this means you might not have a fixed team or your enemy dose not. In the end if you want competitive play stop your rant about how much you -Yoink!- over the 1-50 ranking system enlist in a ladder.

> This is Volks, and I’m done with you,
You are not a high rank in Halo. Maybe I should just stop there? Anyways, nothing you just said says why there should not be ratings for players. Also, I’m not sure what your silly rant is about competitive play and/or ratings. In the end, for example, the Halo 3 rating system worked. I predict that you were probably a level 40…and when I saw 4 people like you in my match…I knew I was going to beat you and go 20 and 2 against you. And yes, the game was competitive as a result…competitive as you can make it that is. People have up an down games so obviously there are things out of the control of the game in it’s effort to make every game a perfectly fair match…but if a 4 50’s are playing 4 50’s…then yes it’s pretty fair.
You’re posts are about as useful as my dogs farts.
