The time has come for a moment of silence. I have something to say. After hearing countless complaints about the state of Halo. I would like to announce that Halo is a Great right now here today. To long has the talk gone on about Halo 5 being a bad game. This game is High Quality Halo. Let us not reverse what we have worked so hard to achieve we must build on our already blossoming infrastructure. Our core is Strong, Our Game is Strong, Halo is Strong

I am not ignorant to the fact the Halo 5 has flaws just like every halo game before it. I’m sure most people here can make a check point list of the issues. I’m here to say stop looking at what you don’t have and start being grateful that halo is still alive breathing freely, the age of OG halo players rises everyday yet somehow we manage to defy the odds and keep our favorite pastime alive.

Bad rep it got at launch, and the continued bad rep.

So why are people hating? Why are the forums mainly complaints? Why is it the least popular Halo beside Halo 4? Why is 343 not listening to the community like bungie did? Why are you making a thread around your opinion that is widely believed to be false, and can be proven such an many different ways.

Aye man i completely agree with you that this halo was pretty great. The downfall of this halo is it is simply not cool or “in” anymore. I also put the blame on 343 for skimping us with a bare game at launch instead going for “free updates”. Halo is just getting bashed a ton and everyone even the people who love the game are slightly irked. I personally dont think halo is ever going to recover regardless how good of a game is made. Need a image change not sure how they can do that maybe try adding split screen back to the game that would help.

To be fair, BF4 got rekt at launch.

Battlefield 4 is probably riding off Battlefield 1 hype, to be fair. Plus EA have been intermittently giving away most of the DLC packs for free, if you check the Gold Deals.

Yeah halo is ok right now. Other than halo 5 there is lots of new halo content and news to be found. And my only complaint in halo 5 is that none of my friends want to play campaign. Most of my frinds are teaming up to play btb or warzone, which reminds me of the old days of halo.

I agree in some extent, Halo 5 is pretty great, but the campaign is unforgivable.

Halo 5 is awesome. Not happy about the lack of split screen multi player but still awesome.

Battlefield 4 had a crappier launch than Halo 5 and Halo 5 also has “free” dlc, so…

I really liked finding skulls and intel, it too brought me back to halo glory days. Side note, i was watching marvel agents of sheid, and an episode in season 2 they were playing halo mcc.

Its a great game but with all the people said… Yeah it had a bad launch

I haven’t played the previous Halo’s, but I think this is a great game. It may not do well by the Halo fan bases standards, but I think it’s good.

Halo 5 did the same thing, so it’s equal right?

Yes it is! But it would have been awesome if the game had this playlist at launch day. Then grow from that point with more awesome content.
