A lot of people state as fact that the population is dwindling since launch. They use this as support for their claims that certain changes need to be made. I’m curious about the source of these numbers. I’ve yet to see a firm, SOURCED, player population figures. H5 units sold total 3.37m as of 12/26. I’ve had very fast matchmaking. Do we know that player pop is actually in decline? I know the sales figures of H5 have been low relative to other Halos, but that could reflect dissatisfaction with H4 and/or the competition presented by other titles. Anyone have a lead on player population numbers?
