Halo is Definitely Changing...

And with the transition from Bungie.net to the home of waypoint, Halo has made a difference. Yet with each passing moment I’m sure we’ll keep beside us the balance Halo has made via multiplayer matchmaking.

Halo 4 might be adopting a system which enables previous game-play to alter the balance between players… NO!! >:( armor that can endure more damage!
Halo has always been this way… with each second of game-play, came experience which led unto the world after. Good luck new Halo, welcome to the new Universe of Halo. I just hope they have an MLG playlist in which equipment will not give advantages!

well I don’t have much to quote, but if anyone has the power of google and other interwebz resources, feel free to post links to or quote the knowledge!

Yeah, I usually forget that Halo players don’t want to overcome challenges.

Yes, Halo is changing… for the better.

Also, welcome to Waypoint.

Another one of these threads? Stop cluttering up the forums. Also, what’s with your poll?

Yeah it changed but I don’t get the point of your poll?

I was worried about such advantages and disadvantages before as well, but my opinion has changed due to the fact that there are preset loadouts tailored to each map. In other words if I want to play with a BR or DMR, I will most likely have such a choice even with little Halo 4 multiplayer experience from the start. From what I understand, weapons and specializations are unlocked for your own custom loadouts. The shield package is the only one that has me a bit worried. And if you don’t like such additions in general, it is confirmed that there will be a classic playlist. I personally will be enjoying this new take on Halo as the armor abilities seem to compliment gameplay rather than overshadow gameplay as one could argrue with Reach. I have enjoyed every Halo game and have never been disappointed by one, and i’m sure this trend will not be changing any time soon.

Also, armor that can endure more damage, where did you get that idea?

ambiguous at best…

> Yeah, I usually forget that Halo players don’t want to overcome challenges.

hahaha spending time on the forums in opposition to “Halo players”? what can the community say to show appreciation to your kind?
on the contrary, challenges is the reason I’m alive. Military ftw got nothin’ to lose in life. when you could have anything you set your mind to, why not go for the best? Challenges… watch your word choice.

Better being solo-oriented… but there are more individuals than clans and groups… go figure the inevitable. Well yeah finally gave up my Bungie.net profile I was so committed to. ha.

Our kind? Kind of rude, don’t you think?

classic, great!
–loadouts that endure more damage… as a passive affect.

Uh, you started talking about them in your OP. I just responded to it.

If you consider pointing out “halo players” and a negative reference as… well, negative,
Then let “your kind” be flamers who don’t play a very positive role in the community. No.

My OP… should not be interpreted as something in resistance to any challenge. But when there is a choice, it should be read that I prefer such challenge to be based on sole player skill. -that way, players who have played for years will not have much more advantage over a very open and positive player… confident and determined to achieve.

What? I just don’t like people who come on the forums to insult others. I am also a Halo player, and believe it or not, not everyone has the same opinions as you. I am not flaming. I am only pointing out that this kind of thread has been done to death, and that your previous posts was rude. Also, this thread does not contribute in any way to the forums.

Man, that was funny. Compare his 4500 posts to your 4. If he was a flamer, do you really think he would’ve lasted that long?

Also, I know Daedalos well enough to say that he has definitely played a positive role in the community. Honestly, I don’t know what gives you the right to say anyone hasn’t had a positive role in the community since you haven’t even been here long enough to tell.

The only way you can endure more damage is if you get an overshield, which is earned through ordinance. I doubt 343 would go to that level with specializations. As I said, the only one that has me a bit worried is the shield package. The rest don’t seem to have much effect on gameplay.

Um, what? Can we go over this again?

as a Halo player, I felt insulted by a comment which not only implied, but directly stated generalized and negative aspects of “Halo players” . I then responded with “your kind” as a tag to those who not only flame, but greet, players in such a manner. Yet defense might not be an effective excuse, so what of it?
Moving on… a rookie mistake – I failed to set an example by using the search bar and wish I could save every good soul some time by conforming into one thread. I guess… everyone thinks they’re different… maybe a little too naturally unique and human. -what a rationalization. well DaedalOs42…, if the topic has shifted from wanting to sympathize with others still hoping for a “classic playlist” (I didn’t do much searching since yesterday’s videos, thus… ignorant to the claimed “classic playlist”), then let superior action be taken over this thread. However, I am still interested in replies which might help me accept the facts and adapt.

Daedalos… is a person who quoted me about quoting
Neo… who is the member I was referring to… because he was playing Such “a positive role in the community.” Leg3ndaryLegion… is a username that in fact has few posts on Waypoint, this site – whatever you wish as I will soon call it home. Because it is great. and I respect the home of halo regardless of its members. We are pretty much the same to the industry. And on… It was hard to leave Bungie, but yes… judge me by what you see now I suppose… a few posts as a first step through a door of potential. Needless to say, neither of us really understand what is on the opposite side --I being alone.
