First wrong place for this. Second, that means you need to buy a need disk. I have had this happen to three disks.

Welcome to Waypoint and another tip is make sure when you buy the game you DL it to your xbox. Makes it faster and more reliable when your disc gets scratched.

Well I just started my form account 10 min ago

Sorry for some of my earlier post. Welcome to waypoint, but the issue you are talking about belongs in another part of the forum.

Cant load reach maps huh? that happened to me once. Your disk is unreadable probably due to a scratch on the disk. take it to a game store and get it cleaned for a couple of £’s or if your in USA then just a few $'s. your halo reach game disk should be good as new and Campaign + Firefight should be available again.

After Getting off the sofa:
Step 1: get a bit of money and go to a game store.

Step 2: Ask them if they clean unreadable game disks.

Step 3: Wait 5-10 min for disk to get cleaned and go homeand play on ur Xbox and will work again.

All thanks to Xbox.com where your Xbox LIVE account already exists!

Could you explain to me the purpose of downloading the game to the Xbox? I never saw the purpose.

One of the benefits would be that your disc will get less wear and tear. You still need to put the disc in, but after verifying it, it shouldn’t be read again (though that will depend on the game). This should minimize the danger of scratching it if the console gets knocked. There should also be less noise as it doesn’t need to keep the optical disk spinning.

You might also get faster loading times - but that would depend on the game.

An obvious downside is that you are going to fill your hard drive if you do this for all your games.

Well thank you that is very helpful to know because I had once downloaded Halo 3 on to my hard drive and I didn’t know what the purpose was and now you have enlightened me on this subject thanks.
