In your opinion Halo infinite is really good yes but not everyone shares that opinion I personally donât share that opinion towards the multiplayer the campaign however I think itâs going to be really good and itâs supposedly really long as well which is also a good thing but the multiplayer is missing a lot of key elements and the weapon balancing for some of the newer weapons is terrible and the commando as well as the sidekick just donât fit in with Halo they just look too modern they look like something pulled from COD
I donât think a lot of people are doubting that itâs a great game, and the best since atleast reach. What weâre having trouble with is the major problems that were predicated by corporate greed as well as basic balance issues and a MAJOR lack of content. You also have to take this into consideration as well, people are passionate, (Whether unjust or not) BECAUSE we do believe this game CAN be something really special.
I think youâre reading the field improperly. We do like the game. Otherwise we wouldnât be having this discussion. If it was just another dud, yeah thereâs be complaining and so on, but I think ultimately weâd just all mutually understand that itâs time to walk away. But luckily that isnât the scenario weâre in. But it easily could be if 343 drops the ball here. Weâre on a high wire. And when youâre on a high wire and you canât get across, there only one other way to go⌠and thatâs down.
But donât act like there isnât enjoyment and love for this game. Because there is.

Halo is all about customization and earning cool armor. Recon and inheritor are all earned skill based rewards, now you just pay 20 and look cool, thatâs not halo.
Your service record shows you havenât beat all the campaigns, let alone on legendary, no wonder youâre all about paying for customizations

exactly! since day 1 halo as been all about customization AND the gameplay. not one over the other

Halo Infinite is solid, I agree. And the cosmetics and stuff; yeah theyâre bad we can get over it. I do have to say though, there are some big issues even with the gameplay.
Thereâs still quite a few bugs, and the hit registration in particular is pretty poor; primarily, I think, because this game uses a tick rate of 30 ticks/second, which is a really, really bad idea. I donât know if itâs possible, but I sincerely hope that @343 brings it up to at least 60 ticks/second cause right now, missed shots still hit all the time, people get kills by shooting people around corners, and melee registration is sporadic at best. Sometimes itâll even play the sound FX and a melee does no damage, or someone who has been dead for half a second will somehow get a melee kill. For this game to rule, it needs to be on par with its time and a 30 ticks/second rate is really not okay.
In addition, the visual clarity is rather poor, even compared to old Halo titles. People can have armor coatings that match the opposite teamâs UI color, and thereâs no way to override it, making seeing an enemy vs. an ally very confusing. The outline colors themselves arenât bright or obvious enough. And donât even get me started on the tiny, tiny radar that is so small in-game you can almost melee someone from the edge of it, and so small on-screen I can barely even see it.
If I was sure these things would change eventually, Iâd totally agree with you; the game has a lot of great elements to it. But I donât have the confidence yet because they havenât responded to anything about the gameplay, which makes me worry that theyâre only gonna focus on cosmetics and such and the gameplay wonât get fixed.

Halo isnât just about the gameplay but the Immersion, thatâs why Reach was one of the best Halos. The game immersed you in the game, if all they offer of arena than itâs no different than other games. But yea the Armor shouldnât be so heavily beg ND a paywall. The games great but that needs to change

I love immersion, but there is litteraly no AAA multiplayer game where immersion is a goal since they ruin it instantly with some silly skins and models⌠

Iâm talking about the In lore stuff. Obviously the Tenrai stuff isnât lore but some other universe stuff. But if itâs just go in get kills no immersion than itâs no different than Halo 5. Just updated paintjob.
There is an edit button for a reason. If the gameplay was actually good people wouldnât feel the need to unlock pointless cosmetics, the fact is the gameplay sucks and this thing is gonna plummet hard.
