It probably wouldn’t balance them enough.
Grappleshots can take weapons (I think?), send you to vehicles, grab objects like Flags and Oddballs, etc.
Repulsors can disorient enemies, push them off of maps, crush them, boost jumping, reflect things, etc.

Speaking of bad memory, I can’t remember if players could see their legs or not when looking down in the original Halo CE-Reach games.

The games in the past didn’t crash. The games in the past had working melee hits, working grenades, non-randomized spawns, better hitreg, etc.

In Halo 2 multiplayer your secondary colors stayed while your primary color went to red or blue depending on which team you were on but your secondaries stayed as well as the emblems you put on your armor

Okay i forget how it was but still halo 2 customization is still better as far as colors than halo infinite.

Couldn’t agree with you more however Halo infinite has the potential to have the best armor customization color-wise if they would have made it to wear the armor coatings didn’t exist and it was just a single coating per armor and you could pick and choose the color of all individual 7 slots of the coating
Yeah but potential and reality at least in modern games tend to be almost antithetical to each other.
If enough people complain about it maybe they’ll actually change the armor coatings because the ones we have right now really suck they are very plain and boring and I’m not going to be buying any of the other ones because you shouldn’t have to buy colors you should be able to pick and choose whichever ones you want and I don’t know why they decided to do this with Halo infinite rather than the same route as Halo 5 and Halo 4 and every other Halo where you get to pick your colors and Halo infinite has way more options available but they’re all restricted due to the developers short-sightedness

as much as i like my current armor coating, i have to agree i’m still stuck with it because nothing fits my older style. (And if you can’t tell, my armor colors match my username)
I don’t even really have an option for my character my color coatings for my Spartan are usually black and blue or blue and gold but currently there is nothing for me to use so I have to stick with the default blue which is a little bit too bright in my opinion I’d like a navy blue like the Halo reach colors is what I like the most for Halo 3 I’ve always thought that the colors we’re a little too bright especially on the new armor that was added in for Halo 3 in the MCC where you got Halo 4 armor sets the colors just looked really plastic like rather than metallic
I think there is like a bright blue and black but you have to buy that one…
Same here. There is not much for me to use and I played 30 hours now. I just want to color my Spartan pink, just like in CE. It is not much to ask, is it?
Like I said before, what baffles me is that they marketed this as “allowing players to express themselves like never before”. Something it clearly isn’t. I will stick to my default orange coating for now, but man, I miss being able to pick basic colors like in the other Halos. Hopefully they will change this in a future update.

I really hope they do something soon with the colors as well as the armor because they straight up lied to us by saying that they restricted everything as much as they possibly could it’s really unfair and it doesn’t shed a good light on the game restricting players from being able to simply just color their Spartan like they could in every other Halo game is ridiculous and makes absolutely no sense and the sad part about it is the armor coating system the way it works there are seven individual slots you could change the color of and you can add camouflage and stuff like that to the colors as well but they’ve restricted it all from the player’s access
Yeah I’ve seen some armor coatings that look nice but there’s no way I’m spending any money on any of them I’m not going to be buying anything in Halo infinite and I don’t know if I’m going to even buy the campaign honestly
Do you know if there’s a perma banned from Ranked? does it only bann you from ranked because i’m seeing all these snobbish elitist comments about rank liek “Don’t do challenge sin ranked, don’t ruin my game in ranked.” And all other BS, personally if I can play unranked i’d go and get myself banned from ranked for the whole next two seasons seeing as I never cared for ranked and still don’t not to mention i don’t want 9/10 of the items in the battlepass anymore… I’m level 50.
As far as AR, my main issue is that it can kill quickly while being outside of AR range. Arguably a radar issue moreso, but I find it flawed that a spray weapon can kill quickly while never showing on the radar.
Commando they just ruined. It was solid in the beta. As it sits, it’s not that it’s unusable, but there literally isn’t a single situation that it’s better than either an AR or BR. Close range AR blows it out of the water and from mid - far the BR does the same.
