Halo is becoming something it is not...

I have been reading, studying, observing all the posts and information and I jhave been agreement that these new features are not meant to be.

I remember Halo being a simple FPS, fun, have a good time. I think 343i is trying to make MM bigger than it is. Having a story to MM is interesting as a side thing but the story is the focus of MM apparently which I think is bad. Multiplayer has always been non-canon and it makes things simpler to understand.

I was disappointed we don’t get elites in MM (less player choice). No FF (one of my favorite game modes). The forerunners ability which seems odd (I think it is like GOW3’s mode).

I am interested in Spartan Ops though and some other features.

I just think some things need to be adjusted or removed from Halo 4 and everything will be fine.

As with most newer Halo games the problem lies with what’s added.

What made Halo great was one, it’s simplicity and two, it’s ability to provide entertainment whether your a competitive player, a casual player, whatever.

Let’s list unnecessary gimmicky additions; In H3 we got equipment, in Reach we got AA’s, in H4 - well… If what I’ve read is true…
