Depending on your email provider these can be quite delayed and/or turn up in strange folders. If you Use gmail or outlook, check your other folders/inbox/junk to see if it’s hiding somewhere.

Maybe your email services identified the email as suspected and it may have ended up in spam or trash, look in these sections for Confirmation
I know if your using Microsoft account outlook.com these kind mailings breaks servers slowing everything down sometimes breaking the process
