Infinite has been in development for nigh on 6 years. I don’t care what you try to tell anyone but this is has been the most development time for a Halo game ever. Ontop of that, the fans have clearly stated they want playable elites back. To use the excuse that this is a “master cheif/spartan” story is absolute rubbish. Halo reach, Halo 3 these were spartan focused stories and yet they had playable elites, By not including Elites in the multiplayer at the LEAST you aren’t doing the game a favour, you’re hindering it, you’re literally reducing the choice of customization. you’re reducing player creativity to Include Elites in gamemodes for multiplayer, you’re reducing the long term life expectancy of the multiplayer, and for what reason? because “It’S A sPaRtAn SToRy”. The Elites are just as important to the story of Halo or hell, even the Masterchief as anything else.
Honestly I couldn’t give a damn about the Master cheif, I care much more about what’s happening with the Arbiter. I connect more to the -Yoink!- ALIENS than the boring humans. Just listen to your fans 343, give us what we want god christ sake. I better hear about playable Elites in Infinite because if I don’t I think I’m done with Halo for good. I can’t stomach all the horrible mistakes AND not get to at LEAST play the Species I like the most from this series.
Elite should have been in the game. IDC if it puts me into disadvantages as the hitboxes are larger than the Spartans, because elites are usually broader and taller. But whatever, its our choice. If this puts me into disadvantages,it was my fault. Many skins in cod have larger hitboxes ,people still use them. They want to look cool. If they want to play the multiplayer, strategically and for some eSports , then they would use skins and operators that have smaller hitboxes. But there is an option. We have been asking for elites since 2012. Its really a shame ,343. I won’t use elites Armor but option should have been there.
I never played as an Elite in regular mp, but I’m still slightly disappointed by the news given it means we’re definitely not getting any UNSC vs Banished multiplayer modes.
