Halo Infinity = the Halo version of Call of Duty Elite
The Infinity is the name of a UNSC ship. What MS is trademarking is anybodies guess.

Don’t see how a book or Terminals in-game couldn’t do that.

Yes but they can do what Dead Space did. Or maybe Dead Rising. They made a small game that was fun and action packed. I dont see why not?

Oh, and as far as i understand, the stats checking is free.

Or the fact that you have to pay for Cod Elite. That would be horrible to have something like that.

But why not!? a map every month for a year? sounds like more dlc than reach got. I won’t complain. BUT only for the maps. the heatmaps, stats, everything should be free no matter. always has been. always should be.
but what it could be… Elite version makes sense. Infinity could be part of the the Multiplayer storyline. A supply line maybe. but Infinity is a ship in Glasslands. why would they get both of them confused?
either way… Infinity is something big. It doesn’t get its own site just to be an arcade game or something like that. we’ll just have to wait and find out.
Maybe a plase to look at all halo kd and what not over all old and new halo games …

It´s not, it is free, it has premium features like early DLC (wich i don´t know if you have to pay for), wich is completely different.

This is the first thread about it, i posted this around 30 minutes the article was published, and i didnt see any threads about it.
On topic- Since it is definitely for multiplayer, their are various options for this “Infinity” project. Though i do not think Microsoft of 343 would invest in a dlc bundle or subscription, as well as own multiple website addresses for it. It definitely has to do with Halo 4, but what exactly could it be?
One thought that came to my head was a possible beta. I know 343 said there will be no beta, but it seems logical to do it. I know its unlikely but looking at all the possibilities in this case is the best for speculation.
Another possibility is that this could be the Big Marketing campaign Frank has been bragging about for months. What exactly it could be is pure speculation, though it does seem likely for a Alternate Reality game of sorts.
As i was thinking, i decided to do a little research on the UNSC Infinity. It turns out that The Infinity was a starship technology demonstrator. Maybe pointing toward a beta or large HaloFest type event where Halo 4 is demonstrated?
I also found that the starship was likely named after Bungies game Marathon-Infinity. So i did research on that as well, thinking it might be based on that or might give some clues. The search was incunclusive with relative data though.
