Well, that makes sence, a railgun fires a magnetically propeled slug down two very long rails to impact with kinetic energy. The Infinty’s railguns do the same thing just on a very, very, very bigger scale.
P.S. I also think it looks more like a scaterrshot because of the forerunner engines.
