I am a person who loved to dual wield needlers. Although I love the battle rifle and sniper a lot the game is meant for so much more. If it doesn’t make it to infiniti matchmaking I’ll understand why but it has got to be in the campaign. Lets prey!
Yeah I always wondered why they couldn’t turn off dual wielding in multiplayer and leave it in for the campaign. I totally get why they leave it out of multiplayer because of balance reasons, but it’s better to have more options for approaching situations in the campaign!
Yep… multi-player dual wielding was a bit of a disaster. But I hadn’t thought of it being a campaign only ability.
I wouldn’t say no.
I’d prefer it not be in the campaign unless they have the weapons that can be dual-wielded available in a single-pickup, un-gimped form while an optional fixed dual-wield pair is also made available (e.g. single-wield SMG and dual-wield SMGs are both available and have slightly different stats and functions).
But otherwise I’m not a fan of dual-wielding as a mechanic and would prefer it only be in the game as a Custom Game or Forge option.

Campaign, custom games, social, forge. the option should be there for all of these things to turn it on or off.
I will always, always advocate for more dual-wielding. Bungie gave up too soon. I wanna see if 343 Industries can take what they made and expand on it. While I appreciate stuff like spartan charge and ground pound as attempts to find the next big feature set for Halo, I don’t think that stuff’s the right direction. Dual-wielding – and stuff like dual-wielding – are the way to go. Or, a way to go. A good way to go.
I hope it is in campaign given it was one of those things that fit supersoldier character without messing up with the core gameplay mechanics.
And surely something like pistol would be less powerful than battle rifle as a single gun but it only makes sense. Maybe just even it out when dual wielding weapons.
For campaign - Why not?
For Multiplayer - Maybe but has to be handled appropriately.
If we get dual wielding in any way can we also get an option in custom games to dual world everything so we can have game modes with stuff like dual wielding swords and rocket launchers?
Would love it
I’m not a fan of dual weilding, but I would be ok with it in campaign and not multiplayer
Never really dual wielded much. But it would be fine in the Campaign.
