Halo Infinite's MP Experience is a joke

So I’m about D4 getting close to onyx rn and gameplay wise this game is fun, really fun… but all the damn bugs and glitches and unnecessary changes being done to game types I have experienced has led me to my breaking point with this game.

  1. To start there is a bug in which when you win a game it puts you on the wrong team (the losing team) and you derank. You can top frag or bottom frag it does not matter I would like to share an image but it will not let me on this site this has happened to me 3 times today two of the times have been on streets. I have literally never seen something this bad in any other game beta’s included…

  2. Streets keeps crashing I just had this happen on a game I top fragged and deranked because It counted it as me leaving this needs to be fixed pronto

  3. Beatdowns are way too easy to get and a buggy as hell too there have been several instances in which I have been 1 bursted and beatdown this is a joke and needs to be relooked at

  4. Enemy Player collision and melees do not work half of the damn time and it makes melee engagements awkward as hell to fight in I have been beatdown from the front a couple of times and sometimes I have literally hit someone only to have them not take any damage and have them beat me down.

  5. Horrible progression there needs to be levels or other ranks besides the battle pass I don’t know what the heck was the thinking process besides this (also BTB needs BR starts)

  • This game is just not consistent at all it feels like I am trying to reach for candy in a pile of needles these bugs happen almost every game. While the gameplay is absolutely amazing this stuff just needs too be fixed IDK how this managed to slip through the cracks

I dunno, I haven’t really had any of these issues. I haven’t dipped my toe into ranked though so I’d be curious to see if others have had the first two issues.

The progression system is horribly bad but the thought process was, “woo, money”. I’ll give a hard disagree on BR starts for BTB, DMR starts on Reach made every match of BTB an incredibly dull, samey experience of just standing around plinking at people a mile away. It would be the same here. Close quarters combat in this game is so much more dynamic and interesting, it would be super dull (in my opinion) to devolve that into two teams standing on opposite sides of the map taking potshots at each other like in Reach.

I’d hard disagree with you back on BR starts for BTB having ARs and sidekicks just makes it so that you get traded every single time you kill someone because it is always a close fight there should be long range potential in BTB but yeah the progression system is not fun

Eh, that hasn’t been my experience. I’m getting pretty regular sprees and frenzy’s just running around with the AR, and there are an absolute -Yoink!- ton of other weapons lying about, I’ve not really found it difficult to grab a BR or a Commando when I want one once I memorised the spawns for stuff.
