Halo infinites melee = Halo 5s spartan charge

Why are they getting close?

Do I really have to show you clips on how Sprint breaks melees ?

Do I really ???

It’s not even that it’s broken . It’s more than that. It’s simply encouraged esspically in close qauter game modes like odd ball.

That requires them to sprint, which gives you more time to shoot them and thus win the melee trade.

…Please learn to approach better or walk backwards. You really should not be going for melee unless you guaranteed have the upper hand.

If you’re going to lose your shield, you generally, should not melee.
Your AR has 36 rounds. It takes 15 to kill optimally at 1.25 seconds. Suboptimally it takes a max of 1.65s at 20 bullets.
Your BR has 36 rounds. It takes 12 bullets for an optimal kill, four bursts, 1.55s. Suboptimally, it takes 2.85s and 7 bursts, 21 bullets.
Your Sidekick has 12 rounds. It takes 7 bullets, 1.10s, for an optimal kill. 1.53s and 10 bullets suboptimally.

Generally, you should be able to end a fight within 2 seconds of seeing your enemy, or just over 2. If you can’t end it before 3, then I can see why you’re getting into melee range.

And if you can’t end it before 3, you should start drilling.

Go ahead and show me how you consider sprint breaks melee any more than jumping and crouching breaks shooting.

This just sound like you do not like classic arena Halo as oddball has always been a cqc game mode by design.

Lol.
I don’t loose my battles often.

In fact I steam roll in FFA

My own gameplay proves it’s broken. I Sprint slide into people like no tommrow.

Learn to back up? LMAOOO
Like my guy. IM THE ONE BREAKING THE MELEE

Don’t worry. I’ll show clips soon. I have many already showcasing a wide variety of things

It’s extremely easy to abuse the melee this time around. Far for.measier than Halo 5 was

Yeah I’m sure you’re really good at the game. That’s why you and your foe’s body ragdoll away from each other ten times a match.

“I don’t lose my battles often”

Has an overall KD of 0.96

Ok.

LMAO. Are you counting arena when I don’t even have a team to play with? This is why I don’t show my Halo 5 stats because all your arguments will fall through the cracks the moment you talk about stats. Quite literally anyone in these forums won’t be able to take me on in a 1v1 which is exactly what I’m referring to which is why I mentioned FFA

I mean I usually play solo but I don’t have a KD like that either.

And? Why does this game deserve my attention?

Half of the time I just stop playing in the middle of the game and leave the room. Making my stats go down.

I know my skill and gameplay clips will prove it. I have a lot of clips to shift through. I will be back

If the game doesn’t deserve your attention, then stop playing it and play something else. You talk about something a lot that “doesn’t deserve your attention.”

I don’t think anyone here actually cares about your clips bro. But when you gloat about how good you are, it highlights you. I mean, I have a lot of very selective clips that show “my skill” as well. But that’s what they are. Hyper selective.

For someone who references MLG and not having equipment, you don’t really talk about how slide double melee wasn’t really a thing in HCS over the weekend. Probably because it isn’t actually that broken, and you either die by it a lot, or your getting easy kills on people that simply don’t double melee you back, which would just result in the traditional melee trade. Not to mention, as I said, if someone sprints to slide at you, they have to momentarily stop shooting, which gives you ample time to bring their shields down for a one hit melee, while they still have to get off two.

Unfortunately there’s litterally nothing to play in the market. Every single game out there is buns

I don’t just have a few. I have many clips and I take some everyday. At some point it’s not selective anymore and that’s actually how I play.

I’ll stream it too if that’s what it takes. You’ll see it in real time.

Other than showing video how else do I prove melees are broken? Definitely not through stats

There’s several games to play on the market. Monster Hunter, R6 Siege, Apex Legends, Insurgency, CSGO, I could go down an entire list of games that I enjoy that aren’t Halo. You can always just go back to MCC as well.

You’re trying to change Infinite into something it isn’t, which probably isn’t going to happen. I have around the same number of matches as you and I haven’t once seen this “slide in your face and double melee” strategy which you seem to think is very prominent. And we are ranked pretty similarly in Ranked too, but I just don’t see it there either, nor did I see it over the HCS championship during the weekend.

Like I said, I was only bringing up stats because you were gloating about how good you are. I actually don’t really care that much, I just like to be a poop disturber in forums.

As for streaming, I mean I did the same back in the early days of Dead by Daylight by getting to Rank 1 with no perks in order to show how easy Survivors had it. No one really cared then, so I doubt it would change for this game.

Alls I’m saying is there are plenty of counters for this supposed slide strategy I can think of right off the top pf my head. The number one is simply shooting the guy in the face and getting a one tap melee since he wouldn’t be shooting you in order to initiate a slide, and he’s literally giving himself to you to wreck his face. I had qualms about slide during early gameplay footage, but it really doesn’t bother me at all anymore. It’s simply an adaptation thing.

If I wanted to play Halo with no slide, I’d load up MCC and play 2 or 3.

I rarely get into melee combat in Infinite. If you’re seeing it a lot I don’t think it’s the enemy team playing the game at close quarters.

No. No melee mechanic in Halo history is worse than spartan charging.
