What do you guys want to see in forge as far as new additions go? It could be cool to see sculptable terrain like in the Far Cry games along with a day/ night system.
I’m kind of on the fence about the terrain idea. I like the idea I’m just not sure how if it would fit well in a Halo game. Anyway I would love to see a day/night cycle implemented into Forge.

An easy fix to terrain could be to simply add more objects. Idk I just really like the idea of a carving tool. But if that would compromise the depth Halo 5 has for its structural building, I would be happy to let it pass. We don’t even know what the graphics capabilities for Infinite are yet. Also, AI seems to be a more popular demand than terrain.

For good reason. Being able to spawn AI on Forge maps would be amazing and open up so many possibilities. But I like the idea of sculptable terrain, too.

E.g.
When the player reach a specific area, start selected music and trigger the spawn of a vehicule dropping X amount of enemies of selected type (grunts, elites, jackals, etc.)
Once the enemies remaining have been eleminated successfully, set a point on the player HUD
Once the player have reach this point (Area Z), trigger the end of the mission
Doom snap map is the best exemple for that
I just want them to bring the fun interaction between a Spartan and the monitor back. (E.g. Chasing a Spartan with a tank to splatter them with)
The monitor became very focused on map building (obviously) which meant the controls were tweaked in a way that took away the ease of use to interact with Spartans. This made Forge a more serious place instead of a playing space with friends. I miss that.
Hopefully they add two modes of movement that you can switch between for the monitor (E.g. Halo 5 movement & Halo Reach Movement).
A Editor like in Arma is the best example for Forge on “Power Ranger in space : Infinite”.
I hope that they follow Arma model to create maps and “scenarios” with AI for forge.
