Hey guys and 343,

Wonder what the hell went down those years after the events that happened in halo 5. I know that the trailer that just dropped today was like a flashfoward, but i really wonder what happened to the UNSC. Judging from the halo ring that is destroyed during the events that followed halo 5, Cortana just destroyed everything or is there a new threat that is upon us? What is your speculation about the UNSC and the state of the galaxy with the events that happened after the reclaimer saga?

Any speculation wouldn’t be based off of much, as we haven’t really seen anything. We know the UNSC is in a bad spot, and now know the event in the trailer took place at least on 19/09/2561, because that is when Chief’s armour was last modified (according to his visor bootup). That’s three years after Halo 5.
