We should be able to get XP in Champaign I’m not a fan of PVP I hate PVP I just played a match and got only three assist and zero kills Halo MCC is butter you can actually get XP or points as they call it in that game in campaign whoever made Halo Infinite’s point system is an idiot f*** PvP make XP available in campaign for God’s sake people suck for not responding I need to find a way to balance it out so I’m playing against people that suck as much as I do but letting us get XP in campaign would be an easier fix

You can get match completion exp in bot games, as well as any weekly beginner challenges that are gray if you want exp but don’t want to play PvP.

Didn’t have to play PvP to get XP in Halo Reach and in the MCC they have challenges you can complete in campaign to earn points so I would do the same thing for Halo Infinite I will say though in Halo Reach years later they implemented a code so that you could earn very little XP in campaign that really ticked me off and I wanted to find the person that thought that was a good idea and hanging by the neck

Just out of curiosity: why do you care about the Exp if you actually just want to play campaign. Everything that Exp unlocks is only usable in MP anyway. It’s not like in Reach where your campaign spartan and MP spartan were the same. In campaign you’ll always be Master Chief without any customization options.
Honest question - not saying you shouldn’t want those XP, just curious as to why given the limited impact on your favorite playstyle.
Your right. Atleast the previous games offered firefight and spartan ops. Theres no PVE game mode bedsides campaign.

The Battle Pass XP system is pretty trash. You can’t even see your rank in game. I’ll be a First Lieutenant, Tour 1 in 40,155 XP, but I never play unless there’s an event. The main issue is only getting 50 XP per match, so 600 matches would be 30,000 plus those times I used double XP and the XP update with more initial daily XP. It takes FOREVER to get anywhere with just match 50 XP, so I have a feeling my 3000+ medals XP also counted towards my First Lieutenant, if it’s 852,000 XP like in MCC.
Your ranks are logged in a fan log using the Infinite public API data, at https://halo.info
Now we just have to wait for 343 to display it officially in the game and Waypoint app, not that we will get rewarded for each rank like MCC and past titles

Kinda weird 343 doesn’t do it but hopefully that can be implemented at season 2.

I know this stuff is not usable in campaign but I’m hoping that the weapon skins and vehicle skins at least we’ll eventually be usable in campaign much like they did in the MCC in Halo CE classic and Halo 3

I know what you mean they should have put a firefight mode in the game and they could have at least awarded us XP towards the battle pass in that I would still like to be able to get XP towards the battle pass in campaign

see, if ANYONE remembers, ya? there were challenges in PVP for going against the BOTS. post launch even, but were removed. these challenges stated to ‘kill an enemy/spartan’ rather than ‘kill player’
it may not be campaign xp. but BOT PVE is close enough and easy enough. but now said challenges have been removed and there’s no reason to go to BOT PVE as you get nothing from it compared to regular PVP

I just don’t see why there aren’t challenges in campaign it will give players a reason to go back and play the campaign because right now once you to beat it in the highest difficulty and find all the collectables there’s really no reason to go back until they had some DLC to the campaign which who knows when that will be I mean they let us get points in the MCC I would have done the same thing for Halo Infinite

They really need to add the Progression system MCC has to Infinite. That is the only thing that will save it in the long run. I want to be rewarded for how I perform in Multiplayer, not get the same xp as a person who sat in a corner all match. Or decimated by my team without a single kill of their own.

For real? You do understand why you don’t get xp in campaign, right? It’s called a battle pass, lmao. You buy the battlepass, and the battlepass uses xp to earn gear specific to the battlepass. Has nothing to do with the campaign. If you don’t like pvp then don’t waste your money on the battlepass, and then come complain about making an ignorant purchase.
MCC challenges are excellent. Just finishing up this weeks right now.

Apparently you don’t bloody get it I know the stuff in the battle pass is not usable in campaign the thing is if I had made the game the stuff in the battle pass would be usable in campaign at least the weapon skins and vehicle skins and more heck if I had made the game you would be able to use your customized Spartan in the campaign if you wanted to and yes I know this game is centered around the Master Chief I’m just saying I would make this feature available for the fun of it class challenges in the campaign will keep people coming back to the campaign heck I even let you use the different visor colors in campaign so in my opinion 343 didn’t learn a thing from the MCC
Multiplayer Battlepass Experience from Campaign would only be massively abused, this can’t really happen, when it’s a multiplayer battlepass.
