There are no words to describe my disappointment when I saw sprint and the other abilities. Unless I am mistaken it looked like there might have even been bloom on the pistol and hit markers. It absolutely baffles me that they would include these things yet again when it is so ridiculously obvious the majority of the community wants them gone. If this ends up being another fast paced brainless run and gun shooter like the last one then I will probably skip out. It did look a bit slower than the last one at least so maybe it will have some potential but it was still an overwhelming let down.

I am very very mixed.
The design of things are great
but the quality of them look really…low poly if you get me?
Like they have no polish.
Apart of me hopes this was just strictly demo/beta footage and not the finished product
aside from that I’m pretty happy with what I got
just underwhelmed
and a bit peeved we got now multiplayer footage
or
just…y’know…more.

Thats a dangerous place to be bud. At this point you’ll be hearing about halo modern warefare two next year or so.
Kind of disappointed, the SP reveal made me think of Destiny x Doom Eternal, which at first I was disappointed with, but now after some time I’m thinking ‘ok sure, let’s see how it pans out’.
Sprint, Grappling hook, clamber in Multiplayer, on the other hand? Not to mention armor abilities (the lesser offender in my book). I’m dreading the thought of it being just more Halo 5 (instead of Halo 2/3, which is what I was expecting).
The visual aesthetic I dig (leaving aside the poor textures/skybox/etc), and since Halo Wars 2 is probably my favorite 343 era Halo game, I was plenty happy with seeing the Banished return. The monologue at the end I thought was a bit too much though.

This is literally no different from any other open world shooter . Its sub par standards that ruined halo back when 343 first pulled this crap.

i supported you when your first game was out, game was awful but the story was pretty good… i supported you with halo 5, which had a good compromise in gameplay and a wonderful multiplayer…

This guy gets it, why cant 343 return to what made halo amazing during its glory days? Challenging gun play, invigorating story with loveable characters, interesting dynamic enviroments that encourage thoughtful gun fights. I mean a grappeling hook ?? In 2560? Really ??
Honestly disappointed. The art style, the graphics even the gameplay just all seem off. Compared to what Forza showcased this looks like a 360 game in comparison.Just hoping it plays better than it looks.
The game looks great (sans Sprint + Clamber, but let’s not get into that), the only thing I hope they fix by launch is the flat lighting and the blood not sticking to surfaces. There’s no point in half-assing an M rating. Really hope someone from 343 sees this.

I love it, personally. I’m excited to play as the Master Chief again. The new guns look fun. I can go either way in terms of sprint; fine with it, fine without it.
Why can’t we just enjoy what 343i are doing and be excited for a new Halo adventure with the Chief? At this point there’s something for everyone. If you don’t like what you see, then go play Halo 3 on the MCC. Or instead of flaming 343i, blame Bungie for abandoning Halo. Let’s just enjoy the ride and finish the fight.
