Does anyone know how we can lock in a console pre order? Contacted a gamestop rep and they said they went live last night only online and they weren’t informed. this morning they checked and everything was sold out. Bummer…

I’ve gotten one in my cart a couple of times only for them to be taken before I can smash “checkout.”
It would be nice if having it your cart at least reserved it for you for a few minutes to get through the checkout process, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Gamestop announced this drop over the weekend through emails. They will have another drop tomorrow at 10 am cst, buts it a bundle. Halo Edition series X + Halo edition series 2 elite controller + a Halo themed wireless headset. Will likely cost $900+. If you’re desperate, I can almost gaurentee they won’t sell out for a bit. You’ll need their pro membership ($15/year) to stand a chance as they get early access (well worth it, they give you a $5 coupon every month that you can use to trade for a $5 gift card for xbox/playstation/steam etc.)

Ill have to keep an eye to see what goes on morning. On my way to sign up for pro membership. This is the most information I’ve herd about this pre order. I’ve been following the best buy listing with 0 luck as well.

Make sure to log out then back in after signing up, people reported the site doesn’t update the pro status until that is done. Also, when they go live (10 am cst/11am est/8 am pst) make sure you’re ready. Just because it gets into your cart doesn’t mean you’re gaurenteed. Have your payment and delivery stuff saved before hand to speed up checkout.
