Will there be a Xbox Series X Halo Infinite edition? I haven’t had an Xbox since the 360 and have been playing on PC ever since (along with the PS4). However I would like to get back onto the Xbox. I was wondering if I should wait, if there is going to be an Infinite version, or should I go ahead and attempt to get a Series X?
It will be releasing on PC, Xbox One, and Series X & S

This is what I’m asking. Hopefully they announce one at the end of the summer or early fall.

Oh right… Have they really done console editions since 360?.. Closest I’ve seen is when they put out the white Xbox One with Fallout 76.

Yes. The White Gears 5 console is excellent and there are more.
As for the OP. They might have a Halo Infinite console, only time will tell.

I am in the same situation as you. I am waiting to see if it is confirmed that there will be a Series X Halo edition, or not. My purchase depends on it.

Yep they’ve done a few, Fortnite purple, Cyberpunk yellow, Gears white etc.

Yes, there is a gears 5 edition so … obviously an halo infinite edition ? - but waiting for it takes so long while games like fh5 being announced …
With the supply constraints right now just for regular editions we prolly aint gettin a Halo Xbox at launch. Maybe in the future for one of the seasons.
I think it’s more likely we just get an Infinite themed controller, but I hope I’m wrong.
There will be a 2oth Anniversary edition Halo Console I am sure. It ill have the same colours as the Halo 3 Limited edition Xbox 36o back in 2oo7.
A console would have been announced if they were doing them, the sad reality is that because of the shortage of chips, and the way development and production in general was hit its highly unlikely that there will be a console alongside the game.
Highly doubt it due to the shortage. Although would be awesome!

I would really hope they do that. Halo 3 has always been my favorite.
I finally bowed down and bought a series X console, it was literally the only one in arms reach since they came out. I was going to wait until they announced a console but I’d rather be playing on a series X console than the older model when Infinite launches. The way i see it is if they announce a console edition i can give this one to my son, (he will be doing chores for awhile), and I’ll get the Infinite edition and or if they don’t then atleast I’ll have one and still hope for a legendary edition of Infinite. I really don’t see why we won’t atleast get a legendary collectors edition of the game.
My Series X’s disc drive broke a few weeks ago, so I’m really hoping Microsoft releases a limited-edition one for Infinite. I’d buy it in a heartbeat. 
I personally dont think they will do one, or if they do itl be way after launch. As they haven’t even announced special editions of the game let alone a console
