Halo infinite won't start on pc

So as the tittle says, I’m having trouble starting the game, I have already installed/uninstalled the game god knows how many times and the same message keeps popping up, that the “route” to the game halo infinite.exe is in a not trusted mount point, my PC is windows 11 and Ryzen CPU if that helps.

I have 2 drives in my PC an nvme for booting and some programs and an HDD to store all my games in, I absolutely have no problems whatsoever with any other game that I have installed through the Xbox app on PC except halo infinite :frowning:

I have already tried the Xbox store troubleshooter, already installed the game services that it prompted me to do and I even already called Microsoft support to help me and they say everything in my PC seems fine :cry::cry::cry: I have been able to play through Steam but I want to play through the Xbox app because I have game pass for PC

Hope any of you have any idea on how to solve this problem! Thanks in advance

Microsoft store/xbox app does indeed have a reputation for being wonky. At least you can play on steam which is good.

Maybe try right clicking and choosing “run as admin?” I hope it works out.

I had the same issue, you’ll have to install it to the main drive you use, which is more than likely C:/

I’m actually doing that, but, how much will all the game be? My ssd is only 128 and it got 4gb left after installing halo

I am having the same issue. Steam runs the game just fine. The reason I want to use the Xbox App is that apparently, I need to login into the game via that method in order to get the credits I purchased through the Xbox app. Maybe they will fix the latter but it’s been over 24 hours since my purchase.

Just for the record, I also had a drive specifically for games. Uninstalling it from there and using the C drive makes no difference.

When I launch the game via Xbox app I get an the event id: 1000
