Halo Infinite won't launch from XBox PC app - Antivirus interference?

I just got Halo Infinite through the XBox PC app, but every time I try to launch it, this window pops up with some kind of blue border around it & a label saying “AVG CyberCapture,” and the game won’t launch.

I’ve tried setting up an exception in my AVG antivirus software, but no matter what I do, the game won’t launch! Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Looks like that’s a feature of AVG. It thinks there’s a suspicious file. It’ll send the file to AVG for analysis. I assume once they’ve determined it’s OK you’ll be able to launch the game.

Alternatively, you can turn off the CyberCapture feature from the settings in the software and that should stop the issue. I’d suggest a look at what help & support is offiered on the AVG website and then decide what you want to do.

Thanks, I’ll give that a try as soon as the game re-installs (I tried uninstalling & reinstalling just for s–ts & giggles).

It didn’t help…That AVG CyberCapture window doesn’t pop up, and the actual Halo Infinite executable starts to launch (even shows up in the Task Manager list), but within a few seconds, it’s promptly closed and punts me right back to the desktop.
