Halo Infinite Will Lose Alot of Players

I want to start off by firstly saying thank you to 343 for a almost brilliant Halo game but please don’t ignore the ALMOST!!!

Personally, If the progression system doesn’t get changed anytime soon, I fear there will be a huge loss in the population playing.

The current system is outright DEAD! I’m going to play a BTB game, spend 15 mins doing everything I possibly can to make sure my team wins, I’m going to get kill after kill after kill, capture 3 flags, plant 5 seeds, drive Craig around the map getting him a killing frenzy, highjack a banshee with a grabbleshot and much much more to only get 100xp for my daily challenge? I’m sorry but that is absurd.

We should be rewards xp for our performance in game, rewards for our sprees and our wheelman, rewarded for capturing the flag and all the rest.

It feels like you achieve nothing after every game because quite frankly we don’t achieve anything at all.

The system is broken and if anyone can see that then you’re outright deluded.

I’ve seen a couple of posts mentioning players acting like a objective game type is slayer. Yes of course this will happen because they can only gain xp for completing a challenge, so all players will be doing is aiming to complete it, forget the flag runner jumping off your base, I need to splatter 10 enemies :man_facepalming:

Rewards players for doing good, reward them for the effort they put in, its not hard…please dont make this game about spending money, this isn’t Runescape …its Halo!!!

343 you really need to sort this out, I can see this game losing a hell of alot of players if this isn’t sorted out fast.

I’m not even going to get into other issues right now, like the AR being way overpowered. I’ll stick with the issue I think needs the quickest attention.

Totally agree with this. Also the fact that some kills don’t get recorded for the weekly challenges. Maybe keep challenges that unlock the ultimate, and just reward XP for doing good in a game. Like they don’t necessarily have to be the exact same thing. Idk what the solution would be, but it could get lame after a while.
The only thing that keeps this interesting is I play with the homies from back in the day and we’re actually catching up and bonding through HALO. If it doesn’t stay interesting we’ll probably get bored after a couple of months and stop playing. Which would suck, I’m glad to have made contact with the boiz again.
