A simple post. Does 343 realize what the OG trilogy is? Three of the greatest games of all time with halo 3 being the peak IMO. Here is what will happen… infinite will be a mash up of garbage h4 and h5 and probably that other trash game reach and I bet halo 3 will have a greater online population. It’s frustrating to see a company go against what made the original trilogy so great. I know Halo pretty much died when bungie left and it is all about money for 343 and competing with other games that there is no point in competing with. Imagine if infinite actually went back to being a simple arena shooter. Halo multiplayer could be so incredible again but that will never happen. So all the fan boys get ready for another halo game that should never be aloud the title of halo infinite.

Damn you right, 343 have just read this and changed the title of their latest game to Hulo Infinite. Nice work man!

The only thing that can be said with certainty is that nobody can be completely certain that Halo Infinite will become a success story or a failure. There exist too many variables that are uncertain like the story, campaign, multiplayer and forge.

Not to mention the fact that, for the first time ever, it will release simultaneously on PC as a free-to-play game. There are both positives and negatives for that strategy: on the one hand, it may bring millions of players to at least try it; but on the other hand, if the game is flawed or its monetisation system is unfair, it may be flooded by controversy and will have to fight an uphill battle to recover.
I disagree on with this part. Well actually I disagree with it all but I’m just going to respond to this part.

To me it looks like a mash up of H3 with the equipment, Reach with the customization, and a dialed back H5 with the mobility. Not sure where the H4 is coming from. The game is going to be F2P and be marketed way more, it’s gonna have a bigger pop than H3.
