The halo infinite warthog sounds like a little ricer trying to show off at a street light. 343i should strongly reconsider using the sound they chose for the gameplay demo. 343i please give us back the warthog growl that made it a warthog.
It sounds exactly like the dune buggy that they recorded for it (you can see it in the behind the scenes doc from a few months back).
I’d like if they added a little more of that electric whine to it, however overall I think it sounds good (better than 4 for sure). Its sounds stealthy, and …like its audio source, a buggy.
I’m okay with it.
They could deepen the audio, to give the warthog back it’s rumble/growl. Overall though, i like how alive it sounds. You can really hear what it’s doing under the hood.
