They really didn’t.
I agree it shouldn’t have even been in conversation for removal, but once it was removed they had no obligation to reverse the change. Glitches and exploits are patched in games all the time and this was unintended. Many developers would patch and move on. Hence why so many speedrunners end up using older versions for certain runs.
You’re saying two different things.
You say it shouldn’t have been touched but then say “oh well
” in the very next breath, citing that they have no obligation to reverse the change.
That’s like saying “We made a mistake but we’re not going to fix said mistake.”
Exactly, they had no obligation so I’m glad they did it.
Plenty of developers patch it, community liked the glitch, they don’t then reverse it. So yeah I appreciate they’ve backtracked here. Many companies don’t.
Of course it’s easy to say don’t fix what isn’t broken like skill.jumps but they decided they should do it. They want to do it. But we didn’t want that so they fix it. The community being able to shape their vision and make them change what they want is a really good sign.
I don’t understand why the players are happy? 343 once again broke the game, and then fixed it and passes it off as an update. For half a year, nothing of what the players asked for has been done. 1. Forge 2. Server selection 3. Platform selection (disconnecting PC from consoles) 4. Adequate calls. Where is all this? And a bunch of bugs too.

Awesome that you fixed the leg issue on the Rakshasa armor but are you also planning on fixing the weird twisted abdomen issue?

Tank gun I may use but it’s game breaking like the scarab gun from H1. Mythic Tyrant from LASO community is pro tank gun aswell. I say yes don’t drop stuff add stuff like increasing the probability that aliens use UNSC weapons skull. Maybe Add a Mythic playlist where Thunder Mythic Fog an Catch skull are permanently on with Heroic PvP base stats yet on legendary I think people would still like playing it. Black eye skull on would be insane and boring mostly as the death count rises. If you take off the PVP base stats playing on Mythic probably won’t increase your PVP skills nearly as much, lost intuition etc.
These updates are appreciated thank you. Would you add the option in the settings menu to disable all hit detection sound effects and kill sounds please 343 Industries? By kill sounds I’m referring to the pop and “juice” sounds associated with every headshot & multi-kill.
just need to ask Why is their no pings \ connection icons on the score board ?? we need this because i leave the lag of other players its starting to do my head
but apart from this sounds good

Exactly this. If you do not celebrate steps forward even a little bit you can easily become ensnared in your own bitterness and let it warp the way you perceive the situation. It’s fine to be cautious as they’ve definitely made more missteps than good ones. But I don’t see how tearing them down every single time they try to make improvements (even if it’s to fix what they broke) is going to help matters. There’s a way to be constructive about criticism, but I see a lot of non-constructive criticism floating around these threads.

All sounds good, dont know how i feel about the power ups in last man but we will see how it pans out, happy to hear about the PC stability improvements, my game has been crashing at a record high since S2, but can i ask, when are we going to be able to enter BTB with a fireteam and stay with the same people in a squad, one major thing that still bugs me is all, thanks for striving to listen to the community, even though we dont fully agree with all the changes all the time and some things still feel slightly inconsistent 
As a player who loves to play casually and competitive I am very happy with this update!
Skill jumps are what makes halo.
I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you what I personally would love to see in halo infinite for a greater experience.

Firefight (with vehicles and ALL weapons etc)

Campaign DLC (preferably 4 player multiplayer)

I low key want juggernaut from halo 2 to comeback as a custom game and maybe make it into the halo FFA playlist. Make it so who ever kills first gets to become the juggernaut.
I was thinking something like 7 layers of shield with 3 layers recharging if lost and a waypoint marker letting you know permanent location of juggernaut. (The person who deals most damage to juggernaut becomes the new juggernaut)
This is probably something that will get tweaked along the way but always loved.
- It had that feeling of being an unstoppable super soldier
- Infection.
Always fun.

I appreciate having our concerns and wants as a community heard in regards to this game’s polishing. I think with how passionate the community is, alot more positive can come.
