the r/halo reddit is really good for figuring out what is wrong, the problem is they are overly negative to the point they do not allow any positive posts… unless it is art or cool gameplay.
Which is why there should be a forum post in the Waypoint forums where ONLY constructive criticisms should be posted. Opinions matter, yes, but so does realism in posts.
There have been attempts but they get buried, good ideas, feedback, and all that get buried as they tend to not get many responses just likes.
Where complaints become toxic fights.
I’m glad that you’re reverting the skills jumps and the rank gun. Overall, I like everything about this update and addressing feedback from the community so quickly.
I agree with what Big Clapper is saying ![]()
343i: Let’s take away a load of stuff from the game and break more stuff that was in the game, fix those very same things that were totally unnecessary in the first place and release it as a gift wrapped content update…then watch the happy clapping seals thank us for listening to them and fixing the game.
Halo community: clapping like happy seals
Pre S2, post S1 balance update.
aka, back to how it was just before S2 launched. Not how it originally launched.
Oh this is awesome! Be nice to have more of those speedrun tatics back but for now this is excellent
Thank you for listening to us. Please let us play many of the new modes with our friends! That has been my biggest letdown in the season. This includes the last Spartan standing and rumble pit game modes.
So far so good will there any adresses towards matchmaking balancing and crossplay enabling and disabling?
Great to see an update that has listened to players feedback! Something I keep getting is repeating SFX, like explosions, AI speech during games, etc. I’m sure it’s been mentioned by many people, and may even be involved with this update, but as I didn’t see it mentioned, thought I’d throw my hat in the ring ![]()
Im glad for all the adjustments and content droping
I just have one quesiton
Is there any updates about some gpu’s not being able to run infinite when it should be able to
Like the 900 series for nvidia that have the minimum 4gb of vram
960m for example
Thats great news! Thanks for listen the community feedback about this stuff. Keep the good work!
Overall seems like a pretty solid update. Good to see 343 is listening to the community in regards to jumps and fun stuff like the Tank Gun. Hope this update does come soon.
Why was this shared as a waypoint “forum” post instead of a “news” update?? Watching the community playdate twitch stream you mention this update, but took me frustratingly long to find it in the forum. All other info like this has been as a news update. Please be consistent!
Yeah all sounds good now make your game have more realism by adding legs between 79-120FoV!! Like the first tech preview was!! Make it like MCC!! Not everyone plays at 79FoV to see our legs!
Also even if you play at 78 fov to see your legs your body doesnt even connect to your legs! ![]()
Battlefield 2042 has the most realistic FoV system the body and legs are connected and infinites isnt ![]()

you guys can do better, stop procrastinating on these small things and fix them up! Im sure most people play at 120FoV and it just feels like I’m playing haloCE anniversary 2 in 2022 not seeing legs ![]()

Thank you for the info. Glad to hear that the gun jamming bug is soon solved.
Are you seriously not even considering reverting the melee system to how it was?
Cool
