damn just play the game acting like you’re dying from not being able to buy things for 99c sorry it’s not an iphone app man it’s wild here i can’t imagine trying to find actual feedback in these forums

It’s not as bad here as it is on r/halo right now. A lot of people are frustrated.
No I am crying because I can not PLAY the game! You know, the basic thing a game should do? FUNCTION?! Melee is God dang broken and they won’t even ADDRESS it! Wake up! Stop defending them!

I play every day. Sometimes melee doesn’t work. I’m not gonna lose sleep or waste time spewing complaints on a forum . It’s just a video game, it’ll get fixed, you’re gonna play the game for ten more years. It’s OKAY

Game has server issues, desync issues, melee system is broken, custom games is broken/missing features, theater is broken, can’t select missions in campaign, no forge, missing classic gamemodes, lack of map variety, BTB still has issues, emblem customization is gone, and nameplates are lacking. People have a lot to complain about this game, the store is the least of 343’s worries.

About the Shop:
Everything is so restrictive that, while lowering prices is great, it kind of does nothing. I don’t necessarily mind spending $3 on a coating, but it feels icky when I need to do that multiple times because one coating that I bought only works for one weapon (or amore core). It just feels like a super unnecessary restriction.
I’d say please just outright tell us if cross-core customization is something that can or can not be achieved, but I’d bet $ the reason why it’s not being acknowledged is because if it were acknowledged, it would cause a lot of people to completely stop buying stuff from the Shop. Although, maybe that’s needed for you guys to wake up.

I have no desire to be unfair or just critical for the sake of it, I love Infinites core, I love Halo, I want to be playing it, but honestly, I’m really struggling to hold on to any hope.
The game underlying the issues is as near to perfect as any. The campaign is a joy.
But it’s all sat under a pile of weird nonsense.
Suggesting you need to feel your way around shop pricing to see what works is a blatant excuse for changing the look of pricing, without really making it better. Weird nonsense.
If prices were lowered, armour were cross core, coatings weren’t a tedious throttle on player expression and customisation, if the Battlepass weren’t bloated with filler and if the game came with a reasonable amount of armour and coatings at level 1, the whole Store/Customisation issue wouldn’t be an issue.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m no expert. I’m not suggesting you wave a magic wand, but dancing around the store is just a distraction.
Obviously Desync isn’t an overnight fix. That’s going to take time, and Dev isn’t a straight line, so BtB taking time is understandable.
But Cosmetics being obviously off centre? Weird.
No control of who and where we play against? Weird.
No proper BtB with more open maps and a vehicular mad house? Weird.
XP past BP level 100 not appearing to be banked for future use? Weird.
Telling us you need to figure out what works for the store? Weird.
A live service game with no new content (adding to the barely existent customisation doesn’t count as content). Weird.
Not being able to pick my classic colours. Weird.
Not being able to make, customise and use my old logo. Weird.
When can we see more content for campaign, how’s coop going?
What about those of us who enjoy PvP, but really just want a good, repeatable PvE experience like we’ve had previously?
Can we maybe see a roadmap?
Why do we find information from the team split across so many different locations, Reddit, Twitter, here?

And some people can’t due to having a bad experience due to many of the issues which go un-adressed?
Desynch, crashing, hit-registration, challenges not tracking, off shore server connections with high ping, BTB being what it is.
I mamaged to get into a BTB match yesterday looking for a Shock Rifle kill.
Five headshots later, not a single kill with it.
Over a period of 12 or so minutes, I got two registered kills with it, one ghost which blew up way after I nudged it, killing the player who had jumped off, and hitting a one shot player three times in the back.
Last time I tried to play BTB with a friend we couldn’t get a single connect, the UI broke down and we had to restart our games to remove a notification that repeatedly popped up on the screen, not allowing us to do anything in the game.
Sure.
Because selling 7-9 items not being able to be equipped cross core at the price of 1/3rd of a retail game is very good.
Lest we forget about the talk pre-launch on apt opportunities to unlock things only through gameplay. The campaign doesn’t offer a single armor piece in some 30+ armor lockers. Weeklies have yet to offer armor, the free BP contains mostly swaps, little armor. Events are timed for FOMO ( applies to weeklies too ), and those too offer little in terms of actual armor to play around with.
All of which is further frustrating considering all the above issues.
Others do and as a result it has potential to be fixed.
Stuff doesn’t get fixed or altered if it’s not brought up.
That’s an empty promise from i343, and if they’re having big issues with the UI for the store, in a game using an engine which supposidely was designed to easily have new things added and other things altered, it doesn’t bode well.

So in6 years of development and design, none of your designers once came up with the question: what if we wanna sell separate items? Should we prepare the shop for sich a scenario?

i miss the news update what there going to do with the cheaters problem.
like are the now planning to chance the crossgame settings and chance it from Force to becoming a option or so since thats something i see missing more what the plans about that are more.
Oh yeah… desync is obviously no problem, right? Or the performance on PC? But shop updates… thats the important stuff.

All items in your shop should be free while your game is a broken mess.
Plus I would like a clear update on ranked play. Forcing people to play MLg/HCS settings in ranked is atrocious when it’s one of Halo’s least favourite modes of play.
Plus radar helps players who don’t like to speak on a mic and want to ride solo! Which is probably a lot of your casual fan base. Who probably don’t play anymore!

Neon screen isn’t only not centered. It is als tilted. The right side is lower than the left side (from the spartan’s point of view). Just so you know.

Have you done LASO yet? If not, I highly recommend it! This is the first game I ever did that on, and while frustrating it was actually a lot of fun because you get infinite ammo!

sadly thats is not going to happing i can tell you that now all for 100% sure.
and there are also not going to do it since the multiplayer is all free to play so to make also the costmatic items free is something there not going to do.

You believe you have found the core issues surrounding BTB, cool. Great. What do you think they were they? How do you think you have you fixed them? Actually explains things to us, please. Players may be a bit more understanding if you stop treating them like children.
I can’t believe you have made a shop system that won’t support you to sell items individually. What were you thinking? Why have you made everything so hard for yourselves? Again, would you kindly explain why your shop doesn’t support this. Why was this your decision to create such a system? Surely selling items individually is the most basic concept for a shop? Bundled or not. No?
No more CTF on Behemoth, thank you. Have you planned for any more maps to be released in season 1? For a live service game you don’t seem to really be… Live. We get an event and a new playlist every now and again, but the challenges have made them unbearable (that’s another issue though). Also it isn’t enough to keep Halo “fresh”.
Showdown’s Armour Effects. You’re probably going to regret that sarcastic, passive aggressive paragraph. Do your jobs properly and your content won’t be the subject of “light-hearted memes”. Also, 3 months to fix this?

Would love to see some updates on the server and connection side of things. I feel like the H5 multiplayer experience was wicked smooth right out of the gates and connections were fantastic in almost every game. I feel like I’m constantly battling de-sync in Halo Infinite multiplayer. I’d love to see that aspect prioritized but I also know that’s a much tougher issue to sort out. Curious though why H5 felt so smooth connection wise while the de-sync and high pings in this game are so rampant. Thanks for all you’re doing to update across the game! On the store front I’d like to see more reasonable prices for single items. Thanks!
