Highly doubtful. If you were young back in Halo glory days its reasonable to assume you either left already (especially after 4/5) or if you were older then by this point in time you would’ve moved on from gaming completely for a lot of people.
Now if 343i had released this game 10 years ago (2012) then your argument would be fine, but in 2021? Halo 3 wouldn’t do squat nowadays. Massive amounts of competition compared to even a few years ago. This is not me saying that the core formula can’t be successful, but it is obvious that most of the players from 2007-2010 are long gone and a F2P Halo can barely budge the majority of players.

I don’t want be starts in BTB. It just becomes a long range sniper fest. They can make a game mode with BTB BR and have it cycle but I don’t want it to change totally.

Agreed, I dont play Btb because of the lack of BR start. I havent played it since November. I will never play it again if they don’t add BR start

343, please devise some method of increasing the bot count on offline Custom Games to 24, and programming the bots to commandeer vehicles and turrets.

Sounds great. Is there any chance we can expect to see more ranked playlists added as part of this mid season update? Only having 1 list to grind is getting old, especially for those of us who don’t enjoy the social settings

The ranking system usually feels fair and balanced….then bam! I loose a game and go down 33% if a level because people smurfing.
All players should be weighted as the highest member of the fireteam to correct this.
So if a gold wants to play on a fireteam with an onyx…they both get weighted as onyx. If the gold plays by themself or another gold, they get weighted as gold.
Also, quitters should get a 30 minute lockout from ranked.
And finally, if you join a match with someone who quits you should NOT get loss prevention.

PLEASE add a Ranked Slayer playlist. I’m a loyal Halo player but I no longer enjoy playing because I have to suffer through dozens of long games of oddball and strongholds in order to just play one ranked slayer game.
This is not just me asking for this. Everyone I play with feels the same way! As a halo fan I’m worried the game will lose all popularity if you don’t add ranked slayer. It’s your staple game! How can this not be an option!! Come on!

Thanks for the update.
Unfortunately I am still having issues getting into a BTB match. It will continually give me the “unable to connect to server” error on the menu forcing me to reset the game.

Your loss. There is BR available almost always on the map if you need it that much, and there also are other weapons.

As someone else already stated there is constantly teammates waiting for the BR. I shouldn’t have to compete with my teammates for one. BTB in previous halos always had BR start. I dont enjoy using the commando rifle. I cant stand it when people try to defend 343s terrible decisions. BtB without br start doesn’t even feel like halo

I know that I really enjoy BTB. I don’t need to have any single weapon for it, there is a huge choice of weapons. If a person can play only with one single rifle I believe they are really limited and don’t use options given to them.
Also, people waiting for a rifle to spawn is just dumb - just get another weapon and slay people with the other weapon? Unless you can use only BR…

Yes and BR starts sucked because pick ups were useless. The fact you cant play without a BR is, how do they say it… “lack of skill”.

It would be nice if the upgraded weapons from campaign were seen more in pvp. Maybe you could add upgrade pads that would upgrade the weapon you are holding if you pick it up?
