Players should be adequately compensated for down time, yes.
Fortnite goes down for an hour, not a month, an hour, and it compensates players with a double XP weekend without fail every time within the same week. Not 5 level ups on a pass worth of boosts, 48 hours.
A smaller issue Iād love to hear more on is the capped 30FPS animations, it really hurts my enjoyment of the game. Reloading the power weapons especially looks really terrible, and it just brings me out of the action every time. Because so many of the animations are capped I feel itās going a long way to making the game feel less smooth than it should be. The biggest victim of this issue is the campaign cutscenes though, as mouth movements are also capped so they look very jittery and just odd, it completely took me out of the game every time anyone spoke. Technical issues like this really hurt a gameās presentation and they should never exist in the first place.
Obviously cheating (and please donāt just disable crossplay, the vast majority of PC players are playing fairly and hate cheaters just as much as console players), desync, ranked leavers (and being punished for them leaving by losing rank), BTB, the āaggressiveā monetisation model and lack of character customisation are objectively bigger issues, but they get talked about all the time so I just want to shine a light on an issue that personally hurts the game for me, and Iām guessing it would be much easier to fix than all the other big issues.
Thatās only a slight difference of (144-30 = 114) FPS for me.
I canāt even notice it, because we all know the human eye can only register about 24 frames per second. 
In the past I have only used about one or two a week. Itās not exactly like you need to swap out every challenge.
Look 343, I want to support the game financially because Iām a long term Halo fan, and have bought every other Halo game.
But its still not worth it to me to do so right now because of how terrible the priced are for every single aspect of this game, be it campaignās value, how bare the Battle Pass is, or how terrible the pricing is in the store. Its still frankly insulting the way previous earn-able content is so pay walled.
Make it worth it. Please. Iām literally asking for you to make it worth it so I can give you money.

Small issue, while challenge swaps have most definitely been wasted during the known BTB issue, the larger problem is that BTB specific challenges were still active while this issue was being worked on. Free boosts and swaps are nice, but if weāre being honest the only people that wonāt clear lvl100 in this season are people who are actively avoiding doing so. What was hindered during this period of BTB issues was people completing the weekly ultimate challenges.
No doubt some bit the bullet and just ground it out or burnt challenges to remove anything BTB, but those that didnāt/couldnāt lost out because of a known issue with the mode and the continued presence of BTB only challenges. A real show of appreciation IMO would be those challenge rewards, on top of the swaps. Iām not usually the āapologize with free stuffā kind of guy, but in the face of this specific issue some boosts and swaps is falling short of the mark.

Hey sketch and 343. Thank you, truely from the bottom of my heart for trying your best to make a good Halo game for once. I was able to take this plotline far more seriously and yet still get some good laughs and crys like the good olā daysā¦ Its amazing, still alot more story to add in (of wich Iām very hyped for) and I hope to god to see some more varried terrain!
I just wanted to throw this out there but could we please talk about button combosā¦(another form of ācheatingā going on that nobody is talking about) This isnt MK, it shouldnt be faster to just drop your gun after a mele or empty clip to switch and shoot, shouldnt be faster to punch relode punch than to punch punch, or it shouldnt be faster when you use a sniper to shoot swap shoot its an exploit and its super anoying to die instantly in these scenarios, yes it requires a ābitā of skill but its not balanced within the sandbox it just makes it over powered and you might as well never use any other technique.

I bought the hard copy. Its on disc from a store. I cant just take the disc home and tell the retailer im only playing the multiplayer so i dont need to pay.
It also says it is campaign co op on the box. That in my country is called false advertising and is actually illegal.
