it leaves more to be desired since i was expecting the pistol to be like the ones in halo 5
honestly i think it would be a great idea to make it look like the magnum from halo 3 or halo 5 since i feel it would make it look less modern and most importantly MORE HALO
I’m sure this game will have skins GALORE given how much unlockables are coming out during the marketing campaign. Although I would disagree as to making a “skin” to reintroduce that classic magnum. I think it would be only acceptable if the Magnum in its full glory returned at some point (if not at launch). I can see it being similar to how it was introduced in H5 req system as a power weapon though. Although I would find it completely acceptable if it were our standard sidearm. The only way I could see it being standard is lessening the ammo count (given its current power rating in H5) or bringing the power down (which I believe would be un-doing its authenticity factor). Either way it’ll be there eventually imo.
Seeing the magnum back in full glory would be a fantastic way to bring back that sweet sweet CE nostalgia.
I don’t understand why they couldn’t have the pilot carry a revamped H5/4 magnum then making a new, different pistol.

I feel a bit wary when they say they worked really hard designing the new pistol. It looks like a SIG, painted black, and is WAY too big for Chief’s hands when you compare the sizes and past Halo Magnums.
