All of the 343i Halo games have had terminals or intel to hunt, and I personally think they’re great additions. Halo CEA had terminals on the history of installation 04, 2A had a history of the covenant, 4 had the forerunners. With Halo Infinite being on installation 07, I think there is a good chance that we will be seeing terminals about ancient humanity. Given the population of ancient humans on the ring, and the fact that there isn’t much lore about them besides what’s in the books, I think that it would be a good opportunity to explore a group that doesn’t really get the attention that’s due to it. I would love to know more about the culture, society, and technology of an ancient human empire.
Being that 07 is the only original ring left from the original 12, I hope not only to have terminals but all kinds of fascinating treats for us to find and learn about some new lore or expand on. Ancient humans, Mendicant Bias, Primordial were all on 07 at sometime. Should be packed with bits of information on all three!
Here’s hoping! I really want more info on the precursors. Is the primordial actually a pure precursor? Is he a corrupted intelligence? I gots to know
I really hope they have cinematic terminals on the history of Installation 07. It would be a shamed to not have those especially with the dark stuff that happened on that Halo Installation. Like the Palace of Pain, to the Primordial.
I think terminals should be in the game. 343 said that infinite will provide a entry level for new fans to hop in halo franchise.
