Hey peeps. I was wondering if anyone has been getting the same issues as I have with the Steam keys provided by 343 for the Halo Infinite Technical Preview over on Steam.
I’m not sure if anyone else has posted about this but I got an email this monday about how I’ve been selected to give it a try, although the message over on this website shows that it was sent out on Sept. 2. Anyways- I tried entering the code they sent me from the messages tab here on the site but when I copy it on Steam it’s telling me it’s a dupe.
Is there a way I could get a new key or at least see if I’m able to even use this code???
FYI i thought the same and contacted the support team and received the following response:
"Thank you for your ticket.
This is likely a code on a now completed Halo MCC Flight since there are no active flights at the moment. If you received an email regarding the Halo Infinite Tech Preview, that is a confirmation email that you’ve been selected to participate. All the details, including instructions on how to download the pre-release build, will be provided in the next few days via email and Waypoint message."
checking back at my message (which was also 2nd Sept) it does say MCC season 8 which i hadn’t read properly, as i assumed it was for the infinite flight when i got that email through.
worth checking back tomorrow to see when the infinite codes come through

No keys for Infinite have been published yet, the key you are trying to use is for Halo MCC and that flight ended
Invites to the Halo Infinite tech preview will be rolling out later this afternoon (23rd September) [PST - this could be anywhere from 1 to 5ish hours from now] when the build becomes available for pre-loading. This will include a DM in your Halo Waypoint Message Inbox with all the links to download/install instructions on the Halo Insider Support Site and access to any Steam Keys [if applicable] on your Halo Waypoint Insider Profile [be sure and check that they are for Infinite and not MCC].
Access to the game will turn on tomorrow morning with the first PVP flight starting Friday, September 24 @ 10am PST
