This maybe a controversial opinion, but strafe speed (maybe) too high. But not for the reason you might think. While yes my wrist does hurt after trying to track someone my real concern is projectile weapons. It felt weird using the needler/plasma pistol/pulse carbine outside of bots. That’s because the strafe speed is fast enough to outrun the projectiles tracking. If a person is moving left or right the projectiles will move right past them. Ideally you want to lead your shots then, but there in lies a new problem. if the reticle is at all red the tracking will kick in and you will miss. This isn’t a near miss either, it’s very noticeable. Often times you just need to be slightly ahead of where that person is moving, where you’re still slightly on them. This problem makes weapons like the plasma pistol and pulse carbine frustrating and the Needler down right useless (since it has the same ttk as the AR and the AR is hitscan). I believe the either the projectile speed needs to be sped up or the strafe speed needs to be slowed down.
I think the trade-off is if you can track with the PP/PR you are getting instant shields off.
Yeah the strafing speed is ungodly fast at times. It’s as if there are missing frames as the person is strafing.

My main concern is that the tracking is actually a detriment, due to the projectiles not being fast enough to contact a strafing player. With the PP you can’t just not overcharge however with the PR and Needler you are at the mercy the game. You are hoping the projectiles track properly, and don’t have too much say otherwise.
Strafing is a counter to the weapon otherwise they are pretty much insta-kill. I’d make the projectiles move slightly faster, not the player slower.
I think the PP in its current form is absolutely useless btw. Not disputing that.
