Since Infinite is said to be the Halo Hub for the next ten years, I am certain it is safe to assume that there will be story expansions. With that in mind, I would like to ask you guys what you would like to see in terms of SP content.
I personally am dying for more Reach-style content. I beg of you 343, make an expansion that follows a group of Spartans in a more grounded setting and a more mature tone.

They have 10 years of story to get through and Chief will not be the lead protag forever, there’s 14 other Spartans alive, so they have plenty to pick at.
I agree this is a very good game if they did this
They can also add things like sangheili characters and their stories later. I mean who here doesn’t want to play as an elite again?

The platform model is the perfect time to explore more diverse stories! I’m all for it.
I expect Master Chief to leave the story one way or another á la Halo 3, at which point our multiplayer Spartan will also be used for narrative content. This would be reminiscent to Halo 4’s Spartan Ops.
Overall I didn’t mind Spartan Ops, but there is much room for improvement. Facing new threats and challenges as our own personal Spartan would be neat in my opinion, if handled well.

No need to be, let’s push this! 343 needs to see that there is interest for other stories than just the Chief’s.
What I would really love is to play something else than human. With so many species in this game, we had the occasion to play only Arbiter in H2 and brutes HW2, and I find that disapointing
Faction Wars between our multiplayer Spartans. After the alien conflict, we pick up where we left off: insurrection amongst the colonies. You can choose to support the UNSC, and fight against rebels. Or be a part of the insurrection, and (finally) combat Marines.
I don’t care how, or why, but I really really want the Flood to return. Full dismemberment like in Halo 3 but this time you can take out the legs too, and CE levels of blood to top it off. Take my money.
There very likely will be DLC campaigns, since the game is going to be a 10 year plan assuming my information is right.

Yes if they don’t have the flood in the game when it releases (which I really hope it does have them) then I just hope that they bring them in with an expansion or something.
That would be great. I would love it if later down the line they did side stuff with new and old characters. Possibly something with Locke, just this time with the writing and story he deserves. It would also be mind blowing to see something with fan favorites characters from 1-3 like Sergeant Johnson or the Arbiter. I wouldn’t be opposed to new characters as well, just hopefully their stories aren’t like Halo 5 bad.
Thinking of a story line with the Shadow of Intent pulling up to Zeta Halo makes my mouth water.
