Custom Games are a good place to meet new people, recruit for a company or clan, or just sit back and chill. My thoughts turn to Halo 5, which has many Social areas active in Custom Games at all times. Now, with Halo infinite putting an emphasis on your Spartan’s personality, voice, and individuality, I would say it’s not outlandish to think a social space would be very cool to have. Imagine something like the academy or Armor Hall, where yourself and other Spartans can chat, group up, compare customizations, etc. Live events? Seamlessly enter the Armor Hall and Multiplayer menus from the general space?
I feel like 343 would’ve told us about this already if this was in the game, but it’d be cool. Maybe the Academy will evolve over time?

That would be awesome. It looks like we’re getting a tutorial too, which is excellent for new players. I could see noobs and even Halo vets going into Academy together for training
When it comes to the menus, cross-play and the general social aspects we’ve come to expect in modern games, do it all. When it comes to the gameplay, keep the core gameplay faithful (as they have).
I really do think a destiny style social space would be awesome. Maybe taking place in the academy or the armoury or even the infinity. Where you can use voice chat and get people to join your lobby for customs or forge or even for ranked matchmaking. Anything really. That would be very neat.

I like this idea, but too much destiny. Actually, screw it. I like this idea anyway.
Grunt npcs.
This would be an amazing feature if it was part of the game, the concept kind of reminds me of fortnite’s “Party Royale” which actually worked out great in their community for those who didnt want to sweat in multiplayer but still wanted to play the game and chill with friends.
At first I thought the Academy was going to be one, but the more the lead designer talked about it the less sure I was. I’d like to see one as a way to have more ineractive breaks in between matches and to have time to look at all your new unlocks.
Didn’t some images leak showing the Academy being a playable area. I don’t know if a social space is gonna happen, but I think they are going to allow us to explore the Academy more akin to the tutorial mission. A social space would be cool though. I hope 343 can find a way to make something like that work. They could do something kind of like COD WWII’s social space.
