Halo Infinite Sniper needs work.

The sniper in Infinite just doesnt feel or play good. It feels slow to fire, the hipfire reticle is too tiny, and the scope reticle is just weird with the outer ring around it. I think it needs to be made more like the Halo 5 sniper.

I kind of agree, but I will also say that the Halo 5 Sniper felt just a bit too easy to use. It’s bullet-magnetism was far too forgiving, I would find myself cleanly missing the enemy and still scoring those headshots.

There has to be some sort of middle-ground, a way to rekindle the magic of the Halo 3 Sniper with the powerful nature of the Halo 5 Sniper.

Step one in my opinion is reduce the no-scope bloom. I get that it’s there to force the user to use it at a long range (you know, like a Sniper) but as of right now it’s just far too punishing and prevents players who can aim from employing their talents (full disclosure, I am not this person, I can’t aim to save my life).

The Halo 5 sniper is very forgiving. You can pop off multiple rounds in fairly quick succession, thus making it very forgiving. But I think that the H5 sniper had to be that way due to the fast pace nature of H5. Infinite seems to be slowed down a little, so I can understand having a slower firing sniper. I just think it is too slow.

and also the reload animation needs to be more like halo 3, its a bit stiff at the moment
