Consoles are just restricted PCs, I hope you know that.
I understand.
In any era, it is inferior to high-spec PCs.
However, it has specialized core functions necessary for playing games,
It is very functional in that regard.
Essentially, it is possible to create with a fixed target performance as a goal
I think it will reduce the effort required to create game goals and versions.
Just make the PC version the second launch
I want you to narrow down the degree of perfection to one version and raise it.
If there is a next Infinite, please focus only on seriesX and seriesS.
Easy fix. Don’t do cross-gen, only do next gen and PC and people on previous gen only play with other people on previous gen.
I understand Halo is about playing with friends but we aren’t talking about PS1 to PS2 tech jumps anymore. Building games for vastly subpar systems hurts the overall health of the game and impacts everyone. It’s just not acceptable anymore.
PC isn’t the issue. Cross-Generation is.
PRECISELY !!!
If we were to just look at the RAM available in a default Xbox One vs. the Series X, there is a HUGE GAP in performance capabilities.
Add in all the other components that also have such a wide gap, and it is no wonder why this game has such huge problems with networking and PvP balance.
i think thats more a good idea since you fix also the cheating problem for then since there not have to play with the PC players any more that has a big cheating risk.
its really a good idea that the xbox one players only play with each other and not with the PC or serie’s X/S console then you fix a lot off problems at the same time then only the hardware diffrend.
that the serie’s X/S get the cheating problem then is something i really not care since i not own the next gen console in the first place and cant buy one since there are sold out for 2 years long in my country.
the jumps you talk about the PS1 and PS2 is something microsoft not has done at all with hardware.
there is a big diffrend between the original xbox vs the xbox 360 in hardware.
same between xbox 360 vs xbox one.
so the xbox console’s always have make bigger jumps and the PS have done that not.
I have a memory of having a cross-play selector option in the settings menu before (maybe that was during the BETA?). But I think you should have both a cross-play selector and if you want to match with keyboard/mice users or only match with controller. I feel most games has the cross-play selector, but not Halo Infinite apparently.
On of the reasons we don’t have off line split screen co-op is because the xbox one is to outdated to handle this game and you can tell it was made for next gen. The only reason it was not just put on serie’s X/S first and than later to pc is because of greed for there in game store sadly. .
I never said that. I said they should not do cross-gen. Never said get rid of cross play.
This isn’t entirely true. The hardware jump from 360 to X1 wasn’t very large. Not until the Xbox One X released. The Series X|S is the largest jump Microsoft has had, in terms of performance.
PlayStation has always had consistent jumps. But their consoles have always lagged behind Xbox. Either the PS4 vs the X1 being the exception.
The more I read your statement, the more I realize you have no idea what you’re talking about because you haven’t experienced it. No one, pc or console, was getting frames like that back then because the hardware wasn’t there, and crossplay only existed in FFXI and Shadowrun at the time h2 and 3 were being played. Optimizations and stability for pc have been horrendous until recently. The best setup for running this game was Series X with an hdmi 2.1 monitor using 120hz/freesync, and it’s still arguably the best way to play it at the moment.
You may need to read it again
If that was true the new Pokémon games wouldn’t have been a cluster fu**. Games are just rushed nowadays and quality testing sadly doesn’t matter as much as it used too. You gotta think a game is first made on a PC then set to work on its designated console. Therefore PC builds of any game should work the best but still learning about the process so might be wrong
if there stop the support from the cross gen between xbox one and the serie’s X/S in the matchmaking and fix maybe the dync problem with it.
most the pc platform then also not better play with the xbox serie’s X/S side and not with the xbox one console’s.
in general more i think its better that there was no version for the pc platform at all.
and about the hardware between the xbox 360 and xbox one tells me notting sorry since i know notting about the hardware stuff at all what is better between things so for that i have no comment about it.
There’s no reason not to release a PC version. I don’t get the point of wanting less people to have access to a game. If you think cross play is an issue, then advocate for no crossplay, or optional crossplay. But wanting less people to have access to a game doesn’t benefit anyone. The game was already optimized for the Xbox console. What extra benefit to you get by less people being able to play it?
Why is it bad for PC players and Xbox Series X|S players to play together?
to let you know whe have been telling that crossplay most become a option all for years on the forum.
since the day that there told that MCC gets crossplay we have been telling we not wane have force crossplay for halo infinite.
and we still got it.
and since day one off the launch off the game the threads about crossplay that there most chance it from force to option have been request and then we talk about 20+ threads request’s about it after the launch.
the one thing a lot off console players hate is force crossplay with the pc platform since we know it has the bigst risk level there is about cheating.
that not all the PC players cheat is a good thing but the one’s that do cheat are destroy it for the once’s that do it not.
but now we have a other big problem and thats the KBM VS Controler discusion what has going out off controle now really good.
if there not have release it on the PC then the cheating problems have never start in the first place.
and also no force crossplay in the first place.
and the big KBM VS Controler discusion there now is what have become a big trouble more thanks to the update what has make it only more worse between the 2 side’s has also never start also.
so yea it has make sure that the 2 problems more never has happing in the first place.
there are way’s to fix the 2 big problems and there are super easy to do.
make crossplay a option that console players or PC players can turn if off if there wane.
and the other solution is input crossplay option that there can choose if there wane play only with controler players only, KBM players only or wane play with both inputs.
and both off the suggestions have been post all on the forum as a solution for both off the problems.
Okay, so you don’t want cheaters and you don’t want to play with keyboard and mouse players. Well, can’t you use KBM on Xbox? Having cross play be optional solves that. And I know, people have been asking for that and it hasn’t happened. Now, what makes you think the company would listen when you to not release it on another one of their platforms? Microsoft owns Windows too, and they’re trying to sell PC game pass. So if they’re not listening to having cross play be optional, then they’re definitely not going to listen to asking the game to not be released on PC.
Why am I saying these, well, because this means both optional cross play and not releasing on PC on are unlikely to happen. So they’re hypothetical unlikely to be implemented. In which case, why ask for the unarguably worse of the two? Because wanting less people to have access to the game is worse than just not wanting to play with them. And if you can’t see that, then you’ve no respect for your fellow gamers. Less people having access to a game isn’t good for you it’s just bad for others. Optional cross play wouldn’t be bad for anyone.
its true you can use the KBM on the xbox now but a lot off people are not going mess around with there xbox gaming setup for only that.
like make sure the couch is staying on the right angle from the TV and have a good place for the snacks and drinks close to the couch and you have the perfect gaming setup with the controler.
so to make a big mess from it with the perfect gaming setup for only to play with KBM is for a lot off people not worth it.
and i think to most reason is that a lot off people like to play FPS games with the controler then with KBM and for halo game’s there wane sure keep using the controler since there maybe have been doing it that since halo 3 all or other FPS game’s.
and about the cheaters part is that nobody wane have cheaters in any game’s at all in the first place so thats always for a lot the nummber 1 reason why a lot console players hate the PC platform.
has been ask all since there told that MCC gets crossplay between Xbox and PC that a lot off people have make it clear on the forum that for halo infinite it most become a option also and not force.
and after the game has lauch last year a lot off people have make it also more clear about that part there hate the force crossplay idea and that it most become a option.
if there make the crossplay not a option the complains about will only keep on from it.
what Microsoft maybe not knows yet is that the xbox console communety and the PC communety in general are in war with each other and are fighting always with each other.
that players from both communetys are always fighting with each other.
since the xbox communety always marks the PC communety as big cheating risk and the main source from the problem if its happing in game’s.
if there not wane make crossplay a option then the war between the 2 communetys only keeps on.
you got it compleet wrong.
remember warzone from cod the 1.0 version.
how many PC players have got the bann for cheating and there are a lot off then that got it.
the xbox console communety there have fight hard and show us also that if you keep fighting for crossplay to become a option it will come at some point since there will feel the pressure from the communety at some point good.
like make sure the couch is staying on the right angle from the TV and have a good place for the snacks and drinks close to the couch and you have the perfect gaming setup with the controler.
so to make a big mess from it with the perfect gaming setup for only to play with KBM is for a lot off people not worth it.

You were the one complaining about the MNK vs Controller debate. This debate went on for the better part of a year, despite for the majority of that time more people playing on consoles I’d wager. If the game were still only on consoles that debate wouldn’t necessarily go away. Just because less people would be using MNK on consoles, doesn’t mean there wouldn’t be a debate at all. And, if you didn’t release the game on PC would some of those people have used MNK on console? Some PC users have consoles right next to PCs on their desk.
and about the cheaters part is that nobody wane have cheaters in any game’s at all in the first place so thats always for a lot the nummber 1 reason why a lot console players hate the PC platform.
They shouldn’t hate any platform honestly. They don’t have to like using it, but like, I don’t hate the playstation just because I don’t want one. People use PCs and have fun. People use Xboxs and have fun. You can hate playing with cheaters, and that’s valid, but hating a platform in its entirety? Why?
has been ask all since there told that MCC gets crossplay between Xbox and PC that a lot off people have make it clear on the forum that for halo infinite it most become a option also and not force.
and after the game has lauch last year a lot off people have make it also more clear about that part there hate the force crossplay idea and that it most become a option.
I know that, and I support making it optional. Honestly, I never had an issue with crossplay myself. Played on consoles, now I play on PC, used a controller the whole time. But I know other people don’t like forced crossplay, and I support them having the option.
what Microsoft maybe not knows yet is that the xbox console communety and the PC communety in general are in war with each other and are fighting always with each other.
I don’t think that’s necessarily true is it? Xbox and PC don’t stand to gain anything from putting the other down. The only thing that I can see being a problem is crossplay being forced. But there’s no benefit to fighting each other. Neither PC nor Xbox players forced crossplay. Neither PC nor Xbox players are responsible for any of the unpopular features in this game. And we all like Halo. Fighting each other is pointless.
if there not wane make crossplay a option then the war between the 2 communetys only keeps on.
Again, I don’t want to call it a way, because I respect people on both sides. But I do think crossplay should have been optional.
you got it compleet wrong.
remember warzone from cod the 1.0 version.
how many PC players have got the bann for cheating and there are a lot off then that got it.
the xbox console communety there have fight hard and show us also that if you keep fighting for crossplay to become a option it will come at some point since there will feel the pressure from the communety at some point good.
I hope it becomes optional, but I think you missed the point of what I was saying. Optional crossplay isn’t bad for anyone, but denying people access to a game isn’t good for anyone. You aren’t helped because less people can play a game. Your life isn’t made better because less people can play a game. You should no advocate for the game to be on less platforms than it is. Advocating for optional cross play is great. Advocating for a game to be on less consoles is not.
if halo was still only playable on the xbox console’s then a lot off problems have never start in the first place.
there was then no cheating problem.
there was no KBM VS controler discusion.
there was no crossplay complain discusion.
3 problems we never ever have got in the first place.
and to add this also.
all the 3 problems halo infinite has now its all more thanks to the force crossplay system.
look MCC there got none off the 3 problems at all since the crossplay there has a option to turn off or on.
since the console players not have to complain about the cheater problems there since its turning off crossplay is the best solution.
the update’s the developers can release update’s only for the PC if it come’s to the belance between controler and KBM and keep the console out off it.
and maybe that halo infinite has 2 off the worst combo’s there is to make a cheater problem only more worse then only force crossplay since the multiplayer is also F2P to make things more worse then doing good.
halo 5 and halo 4 xbox console release only Zero cheating problems.
since i come up for the controler for the console side and not from the PC side.
if there nerf for exemple the aim assist for the controler that means the nerf also hits the console side also.
its not only the PC platform that gets the controler nerf also the console side gets the nerf then and thats going to far if its also hits the console side to.
if it was only for the PC platform then i never have join the discusion in the first place but since its also target the console platform is it a diffrend story.
i not know but its still better then have a lot off the big problems that the PC platform has like the big cheating problem.
its true but to let you know good its thanks all to the console war between sony and microsoft that has start it that now the communety’s are at war still.
that the console war has end between then means not that the 2 big communetys are also stop fighting each other.
and to make things more worse and also rare is that both xbox communety and playstation communety share the same hate about the PC communety.
if you wane know why the PC platform gets hate its easy.
microsoft owns windows do you see microsoft do something against the cheating software on there own windows software?
so why you think in game’s like halo and cod there is a big hate against the PC communety in general since there got a cheating problem and also the highst risk level there is to play against cheaters.
so why you think the console communetys wane make a clear voice to the game developers that a lot off then not wane play with the PC platform at all.
why you think the crossplay system in general has fail hard since its good between xbox and playstation but not with PC since its has a high risk level off cheating.
there are also mod controlers for the xbox and playstation but thats sony and microsoft problem to make sure that so type controler not can be use in the first place by going after then.
some cod game’s have that now a day’s more since there add crossplay between console vs PC.
warzone from cod has show a lot off proof from it in its life spam.
in halo is it new since its only happing so far in halo infinite.
and if you think its not true look at the last cod game release it has also force crossplay between xbox and PC so things are going great if it become’s on the hate about it.
and thats why always the xbox communety start to make a clear voice to the developers from the game that there idea for it is not good since its the unpopular feature in the gaming world and its also something you ask for it on the long therm that its going to make a big war between the PC communety since there get the blame for it.
a lot off people give no crap if there release halo on the PC at all same go’s for me.
its only that if you add a unpopular feature in the game that has show a lot off proof you only make things worse and you only get more hate in the communety that at some point the PC communetys get the blame for it and you get that people not wane see the game at some point gets a release on the PC platform at all.
and thats what you get with force crossplay only more.
thats the worst effect you also get from it that the respect between the console platform and pc platform are gone and only are fighting with each other.
its the same with the controler VS KBM fight’s.
since the best and the easy solution there is so that both side’s can have respect for each other is to make it a option also.
let the player choose if there only wane play against the controler input only or the KBM input only.
and the last option is to play against both inputs.
give the player the choose same between platforms.
then the fights are gone there is no war between then any more.
the same with the KBM update that it gets a buff sure if it needs one then its ok.
but do that not if there is a war fight between then and not have fix that first to make sure there is piece between each other first.
most off the time there not learn from other game’s mistake’s good.
take cyberpunk launch big mistake and fail.
how many game’s after there big fail hard have not delay there game release for a year or longer since 1 other game releace has going compleet wrong.
same with the cheating problem its has showing 1 game has lost compleet controle from it and has fail hard against it.
so that other players from other game’s have see we not wane have this problem here so there wane see a chance in the systems if its using the same system like force crossplay that there are not happy about it any more.
