The game is on four different models of Xbox, each with Resolution and Frame Rate differences. Yeah, on a PC with a 4090 and a decent CPU you’ll be getting higher frame rates at 4k than someone on a Series X. And that person on a Series X is running the game at a higher frame rate and resolution than someone on a One S. Should they have no released the game on the Xbox One? Well, at launch most Xbox players didn’t have Series consoles, so that doesn’t seem like a good idea. So should they have not released it on Series consoles? That seems dumb, as why punish people who bought new consoles. Should they have capped it to 30 FPS and 1080p on a Series X, well even then you could argue the higher 1% lows on the Series X would give an advantage over the One S. It’s impossible to release the game on Series and One consoles and not have one have an advantage over the other, period. So you have to accept someone with better hardware will run the game better.
I think console exclusive titles are necessary, so
I can only play the Halo series on the XBOX console. I think it was necessary to continue with the title.
Windows 11 may be a good OS, but
There is no doubt that making it possible to play on a variety of hardware will increase the effort of development.
If you can specialize in one hardware, you can make the best products with that as a target.
If the difference between players is limited to consoles, it will be the minimum difference,
For HALO, it will lead to securing originality and increasing the value of the XBOX console.
However, this game shouldn’t have been F2P…
It’s included in the XBOXGAMEPASS, so that’s all it took…
Hey, I’m using a PC!!
i compleet agree with it that it was a mistake to release it also on the PC since its only bringing more problems then doing something good.
since one off the problems you get with it was the big cheating problem with it.
sure F2P and force crossplay has make it only a big hell problem from it.
now you get more that some off the topic’s is more a mini war between the xbox communety vs PC communety since there both blame each other with things.
like the crossplay/cheating problems is one off the mini wars.
KBM VS controller is also a other one.
maybe back then with game’s like halo 3, halo 4,halo ODST,halo Reach and halo 5 have a good reason there only have been release on the xbox console and not on at all.
and maybe 343 has do to the same what there have done with MCC back then.
first release it on the Xbox console’s only and then some years later if the bug’s and problems have been fix good then make a PC version from it since then there can test it good with it.
Probably too late for a toggle now.
Please let me know what you find. My dad played The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition for a while and had no issues. No issues on the desktop either, so I do suspect something with the game.
How big of a number and based on what?
Cause I see issues with the game affecting actual gameplay, and lack of content, as being main culprits for people leaving, not PC vs Console.
and they also use controllers.
You obviously have no idea what you’re talking about and you’re just assuming rollers only have an advantage at close range. Please explain how you know this to be true? Because I can show you how wrong you are.
Can you explain this?
True, but there are multiple reasons why they use PC’s. First reason was to plug AMD, but that failed because of their drivers so they switched to Xbox dev kits. Using PC’s is less equipment for them to set up, stream and broadcast the games. I’m not saying this is the main reason for them using PC’s, but it’s a reason why they do.
The framerate does not make so much of a difference that you can’t compete. Come on.
If you’re reacting to every fight you’re going to lose. No matter what you’re on.
How so? Like I said, both platforms are on the same tick rate server. All info is being dished out at the same rate. PC cannot predict where console will be. One thing I will say, it’s normal for console players not to know how to network and mainly use Wifi, but that’s not an advantage for PC. More so lack of knowledge/skill from the console user.
There are so many variables to consider where either or could leave any platform at a disadvantage over the other but to say one has a advantage over the other “just because” is not accurate.
They didn’t spend anything on those PC’s. AMD is a partner to Halo, or was. Hence their Halo Infinite GPU. Do you think HCS spent all that money on those dev kits when the PC’s kept crashing? No, you know why? It’s Microsoft.
You must not know about the war between AMD and Nvidia. Halo Infinite was supposed to be “THE” game of the year. AMD is a big partner to Xbox, so they tried to capitalize with Halo.
Uh, I get outplayed by both Xbox and PC players pretty often. I spent about 2500 on my computer in total and, idk, I get like 75fps. But it does not make my game any better, I can tell you that.
If it were 30FPS sure that’d be an issue but an Xbox One X is like. 60FPS? I only get 15 above that but I’ve encountered many an xbox player that’s done me extremely dirty.
Instead of blaming losses on things outside of my control I tend to look inward. I didn’t get to Diamond III by saying “It’s X group’s fault!”
Instead I got better. Maybe you should too. How are you even playing, like, what’s your style, do you even play ranked, I don’t know.
This is true, and obvious but what is your definition of “significantly better”? I can tell you why PC is better, and the real reasons but I’d like to hear yours.
I actually had to total my new build up for a friend the other day, and not to brag but I spent well over $5k. While I can run, for an example, A Plague Tale Requiem on ultra settings and get over 130fps where my Series X is using mixed graphic settings and getting 30fps. It’s still the same game.
Wait, you spent 2500 bucks to get 75fps ? How is it possible ? You can have so much more with less money. What’s your monitor ?
lol, my monitors are pretty cheap. They only get 75hz.
I’m extremely poor. I got my PC with Tax Return and Stimulus money.
I’m curious what your build is, too. I may be able to help.
Are you running unlocked framerate or locked to your monitor?
Dunno’. Not too terribly concerned about it, I’m not even sure my monitor CAN do more than 75.
Did you buy a prebuild?
Sorta’. I was able to specify the parts and such. It’s a good PC, got a good setup here. The monitors I bought just before the PC arrived. Got what I could afford two of.
Ok, so you don’t know what CPU and GPU you got? A lot of prebuilds do not set up the bios correctly, like your ram and Rebar.
