Seriously ?
Can someone tell me the end of the last Stephen King ? I want to know if it’s worth to buy it or not…
Please, don’t feel like you have to argue about everything …

it seems more you not like to know if the game has game breaking problems at all and wane buy it without see if its worth the money to buy something like this.
when MCC has launch on the Xbox one console i can bet for sure a lot of PC players are happy at that time that it was not release on the PC at all when the game has a lot off game breaking bugs and the multiplayer was also broken.
so there need to be happy when there was a PC port a lot off problems have been fix first good.
you know that people that have buy it back then for the xbox one are not happy at all.
i have buy MCC on launch day and also took not long for me to leave it since the multiplayer was compleet not worth at all my time to play it since it was compleet broken.
its the same with halo infinite now both the xbox players fanbase and pc players fanbase are not happy at all.
so if it was release first on the xbox and some years later on the pc then it was compleet diffrend story and most PC players not have to spent money for the campaign also in halo infinite to see its compleet boring at all with less contant what you think from a open world.
TL;DR. As a true fan, even if the game is unfinished or boring I will try it by myself.
As a true fan? Like we are not all fans of this game really? We wouldn’t all be here arguing about this stuff so passionately if we didn’t care.
That’s straight facts… we all want better… and deserve it for waiting on this game to be good for so long and following the story all these years… 343 employees claim upper management destroyed the idea of Halo for their bottom line and took a lot of the magic out of it. I hope we will get a better resolution some day, for now we just gotta deal with maybe 1 or 2 on their team that cares about what Halo is vs everyone else just trying to make a buck off a stupid cosmetic color who is also sadly in charge of making the final decisions, ie charge 5$ for the color red and make the campaign and multiplayer maps as quickly and bland as possible
This doesn’t apply here. They have a dedicated team working on the PC end of things. Or had, I believe most people walked out. Also, you’re assuming one person was handling two jobs. You don’t know that, I don’t know that and to be frank, it’s none of our concern.
Eliminating one set of hardware from development would have not changed anything. The Xbox One could be argued, but this game was well into development during it’s life. Only thing it would change is one less set of people wouldn’t be able to play.
I say the Xbox One can be argued because I do believe they should have ditched it. I mean they’re blaming the Xbox One for the canned local coop but, plenty of videos of people showing a glitch of it actually working. So who really knows but facts are facts. In the early development of Halo Infinite, the Xbox One’s hardware is what they were developing for. So that fact should not, and really cannot, be dismissed. It would be different if Halo was in development during the Series S|X and then the One was an afterthought, but that’s not the case.
I’m also against the whole Halo Infinite is set to be supported for 10 years. I really think (at least I really hope) the Series S|X will get a refresh like the One did with the One X. AMD just announced some pretty impressive stuff with their new X3D CPU’s and their laptop APU’s. They could defiantly build a custom APU for Xbox using some/a mix of their new tech.
I’m pretty sure Microsoft has ditched the 10 year plan. Recently discovered jobs on LinkedIn suggest the team is starting work on the next Halo.
I hope that’s true. I also hope they ditch the whole live service BS with the next Halo, too. You know, because that’s really working out good for them.
They also need to uninstall Slipspace and install ID Tech.
Yes so you can all understand that saying to all the fans playing on PC they should have waited for the release of the game (because of debugging or stability or anything else) is a nonsense.
It was an over simplified example to help you understand what I was trying to say. I don’t know a lot about coding games but I assume that they could have re-tasked some people and changed their hiring practices to hire people for what was now the priority areas.
Live service isn’t really that bad when done correctly. 343 just completely screwed it up and missed the mark.
Slipspace has potential, they just need to ditch the ancient Blam engine that’s also a part of slipspace.
Wow just wow.
You think its better to get spoiled about the campaign and story than to experience it…
now yea sometime’s is that a good thing its call research about the game.
if there is a new game out some people do first research about it first and look if the campaign is good or the multiplayer is good before there going to buy it there self.
sure playing it self is the best thing there is but do some research first about it is sometime’s the best thing there is since you never get any regreat about it you waste money on a game what is looking bad.
now a day’s its seems to become a normal thing that game’s release broken with a lot of bug’s.
so people learn from there mistake’s if there pre oder a broken game that there first do some research about it the next time before there going to buy it without looking it.
there are a lot off people that give no crap about there get spoiled if there do some research about the game.
if you not wane get spoiled then its your choose but if a other wane get spoiled since there wane know more info about the game before buying it then let then do that its there call.
and sometime’s its a good thing to get spoiled before you maybe going to buy it your self.
i know for sure a lot off halo players have done that with halo 5 by first doing some research about it if the multiplayer is worth it or the campaign worth it before there buying it self.
I’ve been playing Halo competitively since Halo 2. I had 6 50’s on my main in Halo 3 on Xbox 360. I was 0.1 % onyx in Halo Reach Xbox 360. I was an onyx in Halo 5 Xbox One. I’ve been onyx in Halo infinite. The main two problems with this game are… 1.) Desync obviously. 2.) PC players are gate keeping the Xbox Community…they don’t want to admit they have the advantage over console. At this point 343 has catered to a community that has never played with Xbox players before. Season 2 was the starting point for catering to them and now in season 3 they still won’t stop. I play on Series X and I won’t even play the game anymore because I play against PC players and it’s just two different games being played at the same time now. The funny thing is that these guys are so arrogant they think a $500 console can compete with a $1500-$3,000 plus PC and it can’t lol. No matter how good you are you will always be at the disadvantage to them and if you are giving up 3 BR battles a game to them because your input lag is higher than them and they get more frames then you will lose in an Arena Shooter plain and simple. 343 should work on balancing the game better for Xbox players before the community diminishes.
That’s really arrogant to say considering the Xbox community made Halo and this is the first time PC players have had the opportunity to play against console players. Now look at all the problems. Should have continued to be an Xbox exclusive. There would be more retention in the game for sure. Once again because it would be a more level playing field. Not only that more people have an opportunity to get a $300-$500 dollar piece of equipment. Anything over that is just straight over kill especially for playing Halo. I mean this game isn’t counter strike let’s get real.
I don’t feel like reading the monster of a thread, but MCC did allow people to play against console before Infinite’s release.
MCC does have cross play with PC and that’s why that game is diminishing in population as well.
what @iEclippeN has forgot to add is that MCC has a crossplay that has a option function to turn it off or on.
halo infinite has that option function not its by force.
that means people that not wane play against or with the PC communety wane see it get chance from force to a option.
and most off the problems we have now in halo infinite is thanks to the force crossplay system.
if 343 was now smart and has learn from other game’s then there know really good that force crossplay is never the best solution and only make things more worse for the game.
Well thats not fair is it? People can play it on whatever they want to play it on
correct. At least to the point where the monitor refresh rate is hit
