If certain alien races are joining the ranks of Cortana’s “Created”, then it only makes sense that some Humans be among them. After all, it’s not crazy to believe that some might believe in Cortana’s vision for the galaxy, or follow her out of fear.
And it would be an interesting new enemy to play against in Halo. We’ve never fought human enemies in previous Halo games.

H5 finally had us in combat marines in warzone, so a small precedent has been set, making it a possibility.
Hopefully we’ll get some ramped up AI for them though
i belive precedent was there before the covenant-human war, the rebels and the colonies had been figthing before covenant arrived therefore the creation of spartans, so in that order and now the war is aparently over could be posible altough not viable.
I could see the insurrectionists joining her. Though it’s more likely that they either won’t be referenced at all or they’ll fight with the UNSC and Sangheili.
I have to question what human enemies could do that the already-existing enemies couldn’t (gameplay-wise) and how they would be visually differentiated from any human allies we encounter.
There’s also the implication of seeing Master Chief kill other humans. What would these humans say while fighting him? How would MC feel about it (he’d been raised to fight insurrectionists after all)? Would Cortana send in humans to be killed by her former partner specifically to psychologically torment him (or at least try to, like she did Fireteam Osiris)?
Interesting, kinda like it, but 343 already got a bad rep (I think what they’re doing with halo is fine but that’s not popular opinion) and can you imagine how truly hardcore fans, who have been here since day one, would react to fighting humans?
Dang that would be cold to see Master Chief blowing humans away. I suppose its possible to have a faction of human rebels that aren’t a fan of the UNSC. It would take some competent storytelling though which 343 hasn’t demonstrated yet…

Ramped up ai? The marines in H5 are crazy enough as they are xD

I am excited by this thought to, it would make sense that some colony worlds would join, especially now that the Guardians have emp a lot of human technologies.
I don’t like it. There are so many other games in which we can shoot and kill human beings. It’s not something I want to see in a Halo campaign. Even in Warzone they were just part of the War Games simulation canonically, and that was Multiplayer, which already doesn’t really count. Killing humans just isn’t Halo to me.
I’ve always felt Halo is at its best when Humanity has to rally together against an enemy that overwhelms and outmatches them. I get that the Insurrection is a thing in the lore, but I’ve always thought that just helped the sense of desperation when lore explained that insurrection and UNSC forces (largely) set aside their differences to wage the most effective war on the Covenant that they could.
If Cortana’s taken control of the remainder of Forerunner military might in the galaxy, traditionalist Covenant will probably rally behind her already. Maybe the Banished could, too, and that could be used as a means for introducing enemy human combatants into the campaign. As far as regular insurrection goes, I don’t see particularly why they’d like Cortana ordering them around any more than they would the UEG.

There is 2 missions in Halo 2 with Marines as enemies, they are supposed to be killed by the Flood most of the time but it’s perfectly possible to kill them by yourself.

Literally all they do is walk towards you, throw grenades sometimes, and fire their gun. No cover, no coordination, no patrolling unless someone is in the base.
I think that human enemies in Halo would be a good change in the game’s vibe. It would be interesting as the human weapons don’t have bullet travel time, so it could be more challenging in some ways.
