Halo: Infinite set after 2561??

hey guys, I was re-watching the Discover Hope trailer for Halo: Infinite, this time I thought about giving it a closer look. I was watching the part where the pilot gives Chief’s suit some more power and I tried to read all the little green words that flash by on-screen. after a few re-tries I found the following written there that I thought I should bring up here. I was going to put a picture of what I found here but the forums don’t let users to post pics so I’ll just write it instead.

I may not be the first person to bring this up but I thought this deserved a mention in the forums.

Yeah this has been discussed before. My guess is that we will be using a time skip to gloss over some of the less popular aspects of H5’s story so that we can get a fresh start in Infinite.

It is discussed in the trailer topic. But it might be ok to leave this here. The Trailer topic has hundreds of replies. It is getting messy now. So you placing this here is not a problem for me at least. But I am no mod. They have the final word on that.

As to your comment on the date, I am certain it will be like Happy Place said or discussed in expanded lore via novels. One of the two would work fine. It worked for Halo Reach. It can work for Halo Infinite.
