Spartans, Attteennn-tion

I’m here today & observing a lot of Spartans & what I’m seeing & reading is Spartans need some training!
All things I’ve observed from my own comments & interactions with other Spartans, have all been pretty similar, It’s hard work for New Spartans, with the intermediates needing to know more technical stuff stresfull or hard to come by & Vetran Spartans… Well, we get cranky!

What I propose is to create a “Schooling” thread here! (Preferably dot point your comments to list items so it’s easier to find) For example:

  • To slide jump - Tap or hold your run button, tap the Jump button & whilst mid-air, press the crouch button or hold & you will automatically go into a slide when you land.

The goal here Spartans is to be able to share this link with your friends, New Starters, Cadets & Veterans alike & bring them up to speed quickly to help the halo community & increase all our skill sets!

PLEASE put all tips/tricks/technical/mechanics/settings/routes/map control/spawn points etc or examples of how things are done & leave it open to constructive discussion. Please keep the trash out :+1:

  • Faster Flag Running - The flag you are capping, run past it a touch, turn around & RUN > JUMP > SLIDE > GRAB > SWITCH WEAPONS – The flag will be thrown further forward from your momentum… E.g “out of the base.”

  • On the first collection after the above RUN > GRAB > JUMP > SWITCH WEAPONS - Rinse and repeat until your home. Looking slightly up will increase the distance the flag flys when switch weapons, practice makes perfect Spartans
