There’s a 50/50 chance whenever i load up Halo that it will say i’m offline. I’ll check and see if i’m online, i’ll reset the console, reset the game, turn my connection off and on again. There’s no clear solution to how to go back online or why it’s even saying i’m offline when my console says i’m connected. Has anyone else had this issue? what was the solution to get it going back online? Right now it seems very random when it want’s to be online.

It’s not you It’s 343i servers sometime it will act like you’re not on line when playing.

This happens to me almost every time I log in now. Nothing loads. Lately I’ve had to close and start the game 3 times to get it to load properly.

Quick resume is one of so many things that year after launch at still broken. You have to manually quit the gane from the dashboard and re-launxch the game, it is what it is.

Yep. On my Xbox I have to close out and on my PC sometimes I have to manually close the app from the taskbar. It’s a weird little glitch, doesn’t happen daily - just every couple of weeks. Today was one of those days.
I manually quit Infinite after every play session to avoid the quick resume offline glitch but now I have the same issue as OP as well
When it happens to me I turn my Xbox off and on go make a cup of tea then by the time I’m back I’m back online. Works every time.

Yep pretty much have to quit and reload every time you play.
I’ve encountered this a lot after the Dec. update.
Have you paid any attention to the loading text? To me, it seems to be skipping the “Establishing best connection…” phase and just loading you into the game offline. Workaround for me is simply restarting the game.
Yeah I always have to go into the Xbox menu to quit infinite and then reload infinite.
Ive been having this issue like crazy and I just went in to my settings (Xbox Series S is what im using), Network Settings, Advanced Settings, Alternate Mac Adress (and I cleared it, and made sure alternate port selection was on automatic…) Rebooted the console and it seems to be working now.
Same issue. Halo Infinite multiplayer more often than not says I’m offline when the XBOX itself is online without issue. Whatever is going on it is shocking to me how dysfunctional the game/platform is.
I’ve tried all the Alternate MAC address clearing, the port selection changes, the restarting, the uninstalling and reinstalling the Halo game itself as well at the modem and router, and it doesn’t consistently fix the issue. Having this problem the last few days. Which is the entire time I’ve owned an XBOX.
The only time I’ve ever had this issue is when infinite tries to start back up from quick resume. If you’re restarting your console it should shut down infinite (I’d it’s doing a full shutdown) however I’m not 100% sure because I always close the game that I’m not playing anymore and infinite has a 100% quick resume failure for me.
Completely closing the game and then loading it back up is honestly the only suggestion I can make. That and be sure to file a ticket with Halo support.
What a way to start off Season 3… Nothing I’ve tried has worked, despite numerous attempts (manually exiting, unplugging the console, launching MCC before launching Infinite, etc.) Literally every other console game I have connects just fine, including other Halo games. This has to be on their end, not mine.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? Sometimes it’s a failure in the code that just continues to fail until you remove the entire thing and reinstall it.
