Halo Infinite - Sangheili Design

How about we make a new recipe.

  • 1 cup of Halo 2 anniversary - 2 cups of a brilliant concept artist - 1 ⅓ cup of Halo Reach - ¼ cup of Halo 4/5 - ½ cup of Halo Wars 1
  • Mix thoroughly, you must ensure maximum like-ability. - Pour into Blender - Set it to render for 8-14 hours of hard work. - Export carefully via Slipspace. - Enjoy.

Halo needs the classic elite dissing like halo 2 aniversary

Honestly I just want good Elite design from a gameplay standpoint. 343i nailed down the in-game animations, they just need to make them more fun to fight like CE.

I feel like I’d go to jail if I applied this to people.

As far as physical appearance goes, I just want them to have a more slender profile (assuming we’re going to be fighting them). The Halo 4/5 design puts them in a weird spot where their body shape is somewhere in between the Reach Elites and the Halo 3 Brutes. Not much of an issue since they function almost identically in gameplay, but it’s something that I’ve noticed over time.

In the cutscenes, I really hope the mandibles aren’t animated like they are in Halo 2 Anniversary. They look like spider legs crawling when an Elite is talking, and when there’s no dialogue or grunting they’re way too stiff. Might be nitpicking here but I’ve always found that design really off-putting. I hope they’ll be animated more like in Halo 3.

Could you imagine if games took 8-14 hours to make. So many games.

I really liked the classic Halo 2 elite design and the Halo 2A Elite design was a perfect way to remaster the old design. However I disliked every elite design after Halo 2, the design weren’t bad I just didn’t prefer them.

I think a design along the lines of the Halo 2 anniversary Elites would be nice.
I didn’t like the bulky brutish look of the Elites in Halo 4/5 but if you were to carry over anything from them into the next game I suppose it’d be features from their legs. I mean, if you’ve ever been on the receiving end of an Elite’s kick in Reach then you can understand why those big legs in 4/5 make sense to me!

make it like halo CE, I always remember the elites in halo CE being more scarier than in 2 and 3 and more like they were a real alien threat you know?, something to be reckoned with

I love how sleek they look in Halo 3. Though I’d prefer the body structure of Reach. Which I think overall has the strongest Elite designs.

Reach leets looked best overall. The size difference between a spartan and elite showed they were truly the elite of their squad and made them stand out. Plus Bungie didn’t seem to care about elites in pro gaming either because they were straight up FAR more different than the spartans with features like:

  • Higher jump - Faster movement speed - Health Regen to full - Bigger size profile (they cant go where crouched spartans can go)

I love the look of the Elites in the original trilogy, especially the Halo 2 ones, I’m curious about why they changed their feet in the anniversary edition. I don’t know which ones I prefer the bulky hooves or the new goat hooves.

The classic look of the aliens needs to come back. With the armor, I am somewhat torn because some of the new armor like the zealot looks pretty cool. But most would agree that a Halo 2 A/ Reach blend would be ideal. They need to be an actual threat again.

Agreed. They need to be intimidating again.

id like too see both elites in the game the ones from halo ce and halo 2 can be the ones who use swords and plasma rifles and stuff like that while the elites from halo 4 and 5 use turrets and heavy weapons the same could go for the grunts the halo ce, 2, and 3 grunts could be standard infantry while the halo 4 and 5 grunts are suicide grunts. this system can also work for the jackles have the halo ce, 2, and 3 jackles be snipers marksmans while the halo 4 and 5 jackles could be infantry it would be the best of both styles

Take the more slender look of the H2A body with a sprinkle of the larger, intimidating Reach Elite with the head like some combination of H2, H3, and H2A.

The Halo 4/5 Elites can suffer from some phenotype-specific disease and disappear for all I care.

I feel Halo2 Aniversarry was perfect. they should try to replicate that look in Halo 6

I would like them to look like the Halo 3 design but with a few changes. ( And playable)

For campaign, I think it’d be pretty cool to see a bit of both of the elite types.
For multiplayer I would like the ability to switch between the Classic and new elites. And use all the different armor sets
