Halo Infinite Sale?!

Yesterday Halo Infinite was on sale at Best Buy for $20, including the free steel book. Today it is on sale at Game Stop for $20.

I kind of feel bad that I just do not care enough to purchase this game at this price. $20 is a steal for this game…yet it still does not seem worth the price.

I am sure there are many factors including but not limited to inflation, my game backlog and the lack of interest thanks to the developers of Halo…but I can’t quite put my finger on which one is the biggest driving factor for me to not purchase the game at such a low cost…

Well I bought it for £55 because I was under the impression that i was going to get access to more armour for multiplayer. There is no extra armour.

Campaign is good though if you like freeroam and small side quests.

I also bought it becase I wanted a physical copy because I don’t always have WIFI. Dont even know why they bothered with disc if you still need wifi to play an offline gamemode.

I do. I was super hyped for the campaign learning that the style was not linear…

The Open Beta…which is by all accounts still a beta, the lack of Multiplayer perks with the campaign…really left a bad taste in my mouth.

I feel sorry for the player that spent their money for a full price game Expecting actual content, and basically only got a campaign and a couple maps.

Infinite was no where near worth it’s original price. Hell, even D2 when it launched with all it’s issues had a hell of a lot more content/activities. Meaning actual things to do vs this barebone whatever you call it because it’s not Halo.

we all know how tasty halo is, it’s hard to resist that sweet, sweet goo.

There is a reason they released a cookbook…

Nice one.

Post must be at least 20 armor cores.

To be fair they never advertised that buying the campaign would give you access to anything extra.

AND there are the special coatings, nameplates, etc. in the lockers which can only be accessed via campaign. So technically you did get extra stuff.

But  no  actual  armor  though

as someone who bought the campaign digitally at full price… it just ain’t worth it. even at a 20 bucks, you’re better off gettings two games for the mcc than getting infinite’s campaign… more so as there’s no point to the physical coppy

I think campaign is worth 60$ tbh.

I just beat it on game pass trial and multiplayer is free so im not motivated

one of the few reasons for this could be a paid Dlc coming soon, or these companies are that desperate to clear out their stock of this crap game

To be fair, there’s nothing on the discs except an activation key, and it just downloads the whole campaign and multiplayer anyway. You still have to put the disc in to play, but there’s nothing on the disc, and you can’t play offline, so nobody wants to buy the discs for nothing. All future content will be DLC. May as well be full digital and not be locked behind a worthless disc if it scratches or you lose it

like that stuff lesion puts down in rainbow six?

$20 is probably what the game should cost. I should have waited. I don’t see myself buying a game on launch day again honestly. They just aren’t worth any more.

Honestly 20 dollars is a steal for what you get. A REALLY good campaign.
