Halo: Infinite’s future rests on E3

With the less than enthusiastic response from the community after the demo coupled with the subsequent 1 year delay, Infinite has to knock it put of the park at E3 if it has any hope of being the top dog.

This is even more true following the EPIC Battlefield 2042 trailer. That is going to be some stiff competition for Infinite, so I hope Infinite’s MP looks spectacular on Sunday.

If 343 blows it again, Infinite will be fighting an uphill battle.

Not quite sure it as drastic as you make it seem. While yes there was some back lash at the less then stellar looking graphics of the game last year, the overall enthusiasm from the majority of the fan base seems to be the same. Halo Fans will buy halo games. As far as what they have to accomplish tomorrow is convincing people that wouldnt normally play halo that its gonna be worth getting, however the F2P nature of the multiplayer has almost certainly insured that the player base come launch will be successful. Halo Infinite is pretty set up for its launch to be successful, should it work at launch.

I disagree with your overall “Future is on E3”. Their future is dependent on releasing an excellent product. The minority watches E3 and we tend to forget that.

The gameplay shown last year was met with a lot of praise. I think if they improve the graphics (which they will), it will carry a lot of good will.

The presentations in 2018 and 2019 were also well received, so yeah.
